Stopped by after lunch for a take order. Ordered the Jambalaya pasta. The meal was good, kinda sad it didn’t automatically come with anything, but they added bread upon my request. Take out was ready within 10, but I stayed longer to enjoy my cocktail. I had a strawberry lime margarita-perfectly mad. They were offering happy hour discount - will be back with friends. I loved the decor near the bar.

Placed order in restaurant for a pasta dish one I’ve ordered before and enjoyed. The pasta was underdone to the point of getting stuck in my teeth. The result was not eating my dish. Our server questioned if everything was alright ? I explained that the pasta was underdone which the server told the manager and in turn told our server to tell us that they cook their pasta Al dente and that is how it is. I’ve eaten pasta Al dente in the past many times and it was mot like our experience at California Pizza Kitchen. Do not order pasta from this restaurant it is not good! And when you complain they gaslight you and tell you that you don’t know food and how it should be prepared. I’m afraid that this might be the beginning of the end of CPK… sad

Noone around to greet or seat. I wandered around for what felt like a long time trying to get attention. Considered leaving but eventually walked into the dining area for someone to notice me. From there service was below average in friendliness and attentiveness and I really didn't think the food was very good, i probably should have rated food a 3. I felt like it took a long time for what it was and relatively expensive for the quality. Didn't seem like a happy place if that isn't too silly sounding. Reviews are subjective, but I wouldn't return. Business asked for more information so I edited review beyond my initial and probably unhelpful, "meh". Maybe i should have rated it overall a 3 and I'm sure they were short staffed, etc, but I just didn't enjoy the experience.

What a dump. Don't waste your time. Stopped in on Tuesday and stood in the lobby waiting for anyone to acknowledge us. Staff just stood around looking at us. It's not like the place was busy either. Skip it.

The service was great. While the menu was extensive, and I would like to return to try other dishes- the pizza just wasn’t “IT”. My salad was better than the pizza, and I was a little disappointed. The crust was excellent- the California Veggie Pizza overall was not great.

Hostess told us it would be 30 minutes for a booth but we didn't want to wait but we should have since it took over 20 minutes before anyone approached us to serve us. I had to get up to ask the hostess if the person in that area went home or something? They came back and said that the waitress didn't realize that she was to cover our area, when the waitress came she said she wasn't told we were there, although she served 2 tables passing us at least 4 times??? She did bring our food out fast, all if it too fast. Would have preferred food after the appetizer. Food was amazing, as always though. I have better experience getting it to go.
