**The food is just as good as before the move. And fyi, they moved to a bar. I liked the other space better, and obviously that's a personal choice. I still love their dogs. ***
Born and raised in Chicago, this transplant to MKE was missing an authentic dog. But Dr. Dawg does not disappoint! A
Proper vienna frank, run it through the garden and you have one happy camper here! Yummm! Almost as good as Wiener Circle or Superdawgs!

Brooke (I believe was her name, bartender on Saturday February 14th) did a fantastic job! Very friendly and fast service and she took all of my little dumb jokes, which I hope made her night better! I really appreciate the great service! Great food, and an overall cool place. Definitely a must go to, and will definitely be back! Thanks again Brooke and the owners of Dr. Dawg! (Sick name btw!)

Very impressed! Not only do they serve real quality sausages, hot dogs amd burgers, theyvalso serve high quality local farmed chicken. Even has a bar too. What a great place with hometown local flare. Wouñd recommend asking the birger to be less oily but other than that nice place!

Loved the chili dog AND burger! Fries were excellent also although very different amounts with each order. I asked if they had happy hour specials. Bartender didnt know. He then said he asked the owner and all taps ( beer and their house made tap cocktails) are all $2 off. When I got home, I noticed my bill and I got charged not only full price for the cocktails, but also an extra dollar to add the mixer for the old-fashioned?! So clear specials to the customers would be wonderful and to make sure the bartenders and staff also know those same specials would be great. I will definitely be back!

Never have I seen a bar in the location in Glendale… the workers say I came in seemed to of had one too many… ordered a litter of the pups for my baby and one they was barely warm I also ordered a chili dog with works it was supposed to be and I got a Chicago dog and it was barely even warm and also very tough I never had this issue from previous location… never again will I be coming here

fantastic chili dog

The hot dogs were discolored and completely not edible... The Philly dog made me and my husband absolutely sick and so did the pickle. It was completely not edible. The only thing between the orders that were okay are the fries. That is all we ate after tasting the food. We played tennis and wanted to grab a bite to eat prior to our bike ride. That was cut short due to our stomach aches. I never leave a negative review but I was in so much stomach pain from what I ate there it was insane.

I loved them when they were in Glendale, glad they’re now in Thiensville. This restaurant is so welcome and inviting. I’ve eaten there 3 times so far and plan many more. Two notes. 1.) I had duck sausage at the Glendale location many years ago. I’d love to see it return, even limited. 2.) Your fries are great. I’m looking for a suitable replacement for baaree fries after they closed. You need sour cream/chive dipping sauce for them.

Love their Italian Beef Combo sandwich! I always thought Portillo’s had the best Italian Beef Combo but Dr Dawg surpasses them by far! Absolutely love this sandwich! It’s tasty with just the right amount of spice so if your appetite is talking to you you’ve got to try Dr Dawg’s Italian Beef Combo! They are not skimpy on their meat and I love mine with the works - hot guardinier peppers, cheese, grilled onions and au jus dipped 👨🏻‍🍳 Delish!
