This is probably my favorite asian restaurant in MKE. it tastes fresh, and even the delivery was great and delivery usually is … delivery.

The garlic nann was a table favorite. Delicious and large plates of authentic flavorful asian dishes. Beef and broccoli and garlic chicken were yummy! Very nice & friendly service.

We went in for lunch and the place was empty. We got some appetizers that came quickly. Our main meal, the lamb tika maasal, was just ok. The lamb was a bit old tasting like it was cooked the day before or something, and the spices felt underwhelming. The Chinese spicy beef we got tasted too old to even being bad. It took like 25 minutes to get our main dish, and while our server was pleasant, we only saw her once during the meal to refill water and such. For the price, it was not worth it. The slow service makes this place not a good option for lunch either. Also, this place does not have a lunch buffet to save anyone the drive.

Went in to try only the momo but ended up trying many other things also. WOW!! everything was so good! The Nepalese curry was unlike any other I've ever had. Light, refreshing yet very flavorful. The momos were huge and the sauce was also unlike any other I've ever had. We also ordered the chicken biryani, butter chicken, and garlic Naan. The biryani was bursting with flavor. Butter chicken wasn't my cup of tea but it was def well made. All meats were very tender. Overall a very good meal. We left full, relaxed and very happy with plenty leftovers for the next few days. I usually don't care much for Indian food but I will come here from now on if I have a craving. Wishing this place many more years of success. Would love to explore the menu more and try more Nepalese things. Thank you for a lovely experience..

Everest cafe has a soothing atmosphere. I tried their combo plate from the Nepalese section on their menu— amazing spices. Don’t hesitate getting their fresh made naan.
Vegetarian options: If you are vegetarian, there are many options in every category.

Between 3 of us we ordered the lamb tikka masala, general tso’s chicken, and the non vegetarian combo plate from the nepalese menu. It was all definitely 2+ servings so we ended up with a good amount of left overs.
I don’t know how authentic it is since we’ve never been to asia, but in relation to other indian/asian restaurants in the area, I would say its my new favorite.
Everything had great flavor, tolerable spicy levels, tasted fresh, and very reasonably priced.
The decor/ambiance is pretty basic, but I wouldn’t let that stop you from coming in and checking it out.

They have a wide range of options, including Chinese, Nepalese, and Indian food. All very good. Great to have the variety in the neighborhood. Atmosphere is quiet, a good place to go for conversation.
Food was authentic and tasty! I loved the big space and zen music. Definitely would recommend for anyone wanting to try new food or people specifically looking for Indian/Nepali/Chinese food. Very Vegetarian friendly

Delicious food and lovely service. Recommend 100%. PS Signage not great, as it indicated former Chinese restaurant is in place. Work around that to "Discover Everest"! And, I just learned the sign is changed and better. Thank you, Everest Cafe! Wonderful response, food, and service!
This is our go-to place for takeout. Indian food is superb - we’d rank it as good or better than any Indian food in Milwaukee. Other cuisines are also top notch but the Indian cuisine is so good it’s hard to stray away from it.
