I ordered tempura. As far as I know it is supposed to come with shaved ginger and wasabi on the side. None of the ginger. She was really really busy with a large group. I called the restaurant to get her attention. Oh, it's powdered ginger. I couldn't taste any. So she brought me some. By now my tempura was cold. Yuck. Some pieces weren't done enough. If you love tempura like I do, don't come here. Also they use plastic take home boxes!!!!!!!

Good food however the joy of dining was missing as we were hurried along by one of the rudest waitresses I have ever encountered. What's funny is for the review, they want to know if we did dine in or take out. While we ate at the restaurant there was no time for dining as to go boxes were handed out while we were all still eating. One group of gentlemen asked her to write 5 checks for them and she refused. If they knew what was good for them, they should have walked out then and there. There are plenty of restaurants with good food AND good service. By the way, an 18% gratuity was included on the bill. If it was left up to us, it would have been 0 for her. The chef, however, deserved every penny of it. Samurai will never see us or our friends again.

Went here for my birthday with my family. this was the worst hibachi I have ever had in my life. $20 for a kids meal? everything tasted like salt and pepper. filet was tough. Scalops tastes like food poisoning. and it cost over a weeks worth of groceries. NEVER will be back. go some

Was greeted. We chose a both back wall with a used paper towel on the light and very dusty. Was probably nice and clean in the beginningwaitress was um, had on a ton of perfume our everything smelled like her Perfume and when I asked her about it she said it wasn’t perfume but lotion - I was ticked off but I stayed calm. The food was ok, I had noodles w fake everything- don’t get those. Those California cakes are really good the sake good while it’s hot. Those long crunchy shrimp tupa things are ok I like the crunchy stuff on them. Oan something was floating in my water.I take it they’re not VERY clean.I won’t be going back.

This is a restaurant I've been to many times both dine in and carry out but tonight will be my last time. I took my children there for a what should have been a nice Valentines dinner but it was not. Our server, Sarah, was horrendous. She was rude from the moment we sat down. She did greet us but instead immediately wanted our drink order and stood there with smug smirk on her face that made us all uncomfortable. When she returned, I told her we were ready to order to which she responded "no". She said she would take our appetizer order would place that order, bring that out, and THEN take our dinner order. She brought the appetizer and took our order. We waited for her bring our order while we could see it sitting on the sushi bar. When she finally brought dinner it was cold. She never asked how any of our food was, asked if we needed anything, or offered drink refills. She had ample opportunity as she walked past our table more than 10 times while staring. She did take the chopsticks off the table that we had already touched. A big no-no as you cannot reuse something that has been placed on a guests table. She brought us boxes and the check while we were still eating without asking if we finished or would anything else. I felt as we were being rushed out so boxed our remaining food. Since she had removed the utensils I had to use my hands to box up my food which made a mess. I went to wash my hands and went back to the table to find her hovering. At that point I had enough of her rudeness and her strange behavior so I asked her if she was ok or was having a bad night and told her that she had been rude the entire service. She responded "oh" and walked away. As she walked away, I was headed to the front to pay and she stopped me and told me she was the one that needed to take the credit card. I gave her payment and she walked off without a word. I did not tip but instead left a note to let her and management know that was the worst service I've ever experienced. Here's the thing...I have 20+ years in the restaurant industry. I was Manager and still currently work as a server at a local restaurant part-time. This was completely unacceptable. There was no effort on Sarah's part to make this an enjoyable experience for us. When called out and given the opportunity to recover she failed miserably. A smile, a conversation, or even one check in with the table would have changed the outcome. As a server, I know how difficult and tiring this job can be. That said, I also know people don't go out to be treated as we were tonight. And as far as the tip, tipping is alway optional. It should not be expected. It is earned based on the service you give. Sarah is a poor example of a sever and should maybe consider a different career path.

We had hibachi and this place was by far better than a lot of the places we’ve tried, Howard fish was cooked perfect, salmon was perfect. By far the best around.

We went here on 1/24 for dinner and the food is awesome! My partner and I had a great time with the hibachi chef, who was a wonderful dude and a cooked awesome dinner. Our problem was with the waitress. She was extremely rude, yelled at the person next to us when they asked for a refill, barely acknowledged people, gave everyone to go boxes as soon we got our food, like we were inconveniencing her personally, and yelled at someone with an egg allergy that wanted her food cooked separate. She was so incredibly rude I had to cry in my car after leaving, and we rushed out as soon as we could get our check- never were we offered a refill on drinks or asked if we needed anything. While the food was excellent, we won’t be coming back to dine in as long as that blonde waitress and her horrible service waits for us.

I was meeting my hard of hearing mother and son for a lunch out. I did show up 10 minutes late so my family was already waiting on me. As soon as I sat down she was trying to collect menus before I could have even looked at the lunch options. She even took the drink menu before I could order some tea and wasn't even offered a water. When she was confirming orders she snapped at my son when he was trying to translate for my hard of hearing mother. I'm sure the other couple at the table was frustrated as well but they where very nice asking questions to distract my son from the awkwardness of basically being told zip it. I wish all the tip went to the hibachi chef, he deserved it. He was very nice even noticing my son struggling with his chopsticks (something he was so excited to teach himself) and offering him the kids chop sticks while he was cooking. It seems he took more initiative and she took more of the tip. We will definitely be back but I hope it will be with a different server.Kid-friendliness: Server was rude to my son. She was very short and snappy when he was trying to translate for my hard of hearing mother. The hibachi chef had to get him kids chopsticks. He was very nice and showed more initiative than she did and I'm sure she's the one that gets the tip. I wish he had gotten all of it.

Usually go to the Hibachi place in West Bend, but this spot is close to our house. On this night, my wife and myself took my two daughters, 13 and 18, and their two friends to dinner. The restaurant itself is in a strip mall, but the inside is cool. Definitely has a hibachi feel, but not as much fun and energy as some other hibachi places. We sat at the hibachi table with another family, not unusual. Service was not fast, but not overly slow. For starters we had a salad with clear onion soup. Tasty. For mains, we all had a variety of hibachi. Chicken, veggie tofu, and steak. It was all delish! Everyone had fun. Good was great.

To go or in-house the staff is spectacular and the sushi ? ? amazing ? Fun standard hibachi’s for those who like. Try the hot sake on a fall day ?
