We walked in with a group of 10, and the owner immediately told us we couldn’t sit outside because he didn’t have servers. We then asked if we could sit inside, and he said we couldn’t order drinks at his tables. Very poor business practice, rude behavior, and completely unacceptable.

My family has been a loyal customer of Pogos for years, but this weekend’s experience left us with a sour taste in our mouths. The owner’s behavior was unacceptable, and we will not be returning.
In the past, we’ve often faced long waits, sometimes exceeding 55 minutes, for mediocre and sometimes undercooked food. Two weeks ago, we witnessed as the owner confronted a group of people for their “impatience”. He then proceeded to come to our table and engage in a 15-minute tirade, insisting that he was justified in his actions.
This weekend, we had a similar encounter. It was my grandmother’s birthday, and we had planned to go out to eat to celebrate. However, when we arrived at Pogos, our disabled grandfather, who is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, walked barely a foot past the “please wait” sign.
The owner’s reaction was nothing short of appalling. He erupted in a fit of rage, yelling and screaming. He demanded to know if my grandfather could read and then forced him to read the sign out loud while berating him for walking a mere foot past it.
After experiencing this kind of rudeness first hand, we will not be returning, and have instead found a better restaurant in the area for our celebrations. If anyone is looking for an alternative, I would recommend “The Steel Horse”.

I gave this place multiple tries because I really wanted to like it and support what we thought was a patriotic business. But it just got worse every time. The first time I totally understood because they were busy, the second time I went there, it was dead and we still got forgotten about after being seated. Some of the food came out cold. And other food items had a hair in it. We had rude staff members, but the final straw was seeing the owner say some really un-American things. I'll never spend another penny there again.

Pogo’s serves up one of the top five burgers I’ve had in my entire life—no exaggeration. Every bite was pure perfection. And to top it off, the owner Richie is the real deal—welcoming, passionate, and clearly cares about every plate that leaves the kitchen. Do yourself a favor and get to Pogo’s. You’ll thank me later.
