We always have a great experience when we go but the last couple of times we have had Sarah D. as our waitress and she just does a phenomenal job. Even though they were busy on a Saturday night she was very attentive and apologetic for time even though we were content, and has a fun bubbly personality, she had no problem including my 4 year old daughter in the conversation which she really loved ?

I haven't been to the Milwaukee Ale House Grafton in many years. A group of us sat by the windows in the corner and there were box elder bugs and ladybugs crawling all over the windows, which got onto our table and drinks. I know that this time of year that these bugs are around like crazy but it would be great if the cobwebs and things could be cleaned from the windows on a regular basis. My burger was good, the service was great and we sat by some famous people. But next time, I wouldn't want to sit by the windows.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant for lunch, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was excellent, offering a variety of flavorful dishes that both my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed. We paired our meal with a refreshing beer, which added to the overall enjoyment. The service was attentive and efficient, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout. Even though it was my first time here, I’m excited to return and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

LOVED IT! Public parking lot across the street. Beautifully situated on the river and has outdoor seating. Bustling business, especially when the cross country invitational awards ceremony was completed.
I was only able to consume 1/2 of my Bourbon Glazed, Pecan Crusted Chicken Breast. Does it sound fabulously yummy? IT WAS! As we're the asparagus and potatoes.
My runner came in 10th overall, earned a medal, but shared the mud pie, which was EXCEPTIONAL!!

We attended a family wedding at Milwaukee Ale House on 10/5/24. The party staff was AMAZING. They were professional, attentive, and kept things running smoothly. Sue the coordinator is top notch. She met us the morning of the wedding so that we could set out centerpieces and other decorations. She has great ideas and is super easy to work with, she definitely knows what she is talking about. Jason the bartender makes amazing drinks and is very creative, the best drinks I've had in a long time. Jason also was a pro at handling a guest that had too much to drink, he sensed it and dealt with it in a way that did not embarrass the guest at all. Jamie was working that night as well, she is organized, fast and handled some last minute table changes without a complaint. Sue, Jason and Jamie were wonderful and deserve a pay increase for the services they provide, I am sure they are not making what they deserve. It's not often you come across such hard working individuals and it was truly a pleasure. I will not hesitate to recommend the Milwaukee Ale House to anyone that is looking for a wedding/party venue.

I'm an elderly woman who stopped for a glass of wine before an appointment.
Jason, bartender seemed pretty annoyed when I didnt order a meal ( lower tip I guess). I handed him my Credit card. He didn't say a word. Just picked up the menu and walked away. When he brought the check, he put it on the table, again without a word, walked away.
If you, like me get rude service, contact manager, Ben Myer.
I for one will not be back which is too bad. Great location, nice view.

Great outside dining experience facing the river. The blackened chicken sandwich and amber draft beer made for a perfect lunch combination.

I just hosted my daughter’s bridal shower on Saturday in the Upper Room. Sue was excellent to work with and answered all my questions in a timely manner! The space was exceptional, very bright and cheery for the occasion. Food was excellent and the service from Michelle at the bar was great. So many of our guests had no idea this was available nor have they had the pleasure of dining at The Milwaukee Ale House — many mentioned they will be going back again. Thank you so much for making our event a day to remember!

This place was fantastic! We unexpectedly stopped with a large group of family, and they were so accommodating! They had no wait, put us together, and were so kind. Our server was quick and attentive, the food was delicious and didn’t take forever, and we loved the atmosphere. My only one pet peeve was that every dish was served with a giant pickle. As somebody who doesn’t like pickles (actually despise them), it was unwanted and left many fries inedible due to the pickle juice. A bonus was the variety on the kids menu, which was also a great value.
Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu for a good deal
