Went to Sunday bunch on March 10. I ate the sausage links they had on the buffet. About an hour after I got home, I started not feeling the greatest. I spent the next 2 days throwing up the sausage links. I don't know if it was food poisoning or what but never again! Worst experience ever!

The food was horrible! I was hoping for a fine dining experience. Instead, we got Fast Food experience! I ordered Chiken dinner, and I got Chick-fil-A sort of Chiken it was very, very fried. It wasn't even clean. My husband ordered the vegetarian burger. It was disgusting. It had a horrible smell and after taste.

I was staying at the hotel and decided to eat at 1951. I had the all you can eat broasted chicken on Sunday night and it was FANTASTIC! But, everything else on the plate was simply not edible. The mashed potatoes were the cheapest instant potatoes money can buy. The dressing that held the form of the ice cream scoop they use to plate them was reminiscent of wet dog food, and tasted even worse. Table next to me had a steak and I could hear the gentleman saying how good it was but complained about the garlic mashed as being horrid. C'mon management, do better. You have a nice restaurant, too nice to serve cheap sides like you currently are.

I love their Sunday and Easter Brunch, however, I would like to see a few more side items added. Such as, cooked mushrooms, chopped onions and a creamy cheese sauce which added to the buffet adds additional flavor to the dishes they already have in place. Otherwise, they would get 5 stars!

Not one to post negative reviews but this was some of the worst food and service I've had in a long time. Every other table received a bread basket except ours. Took 40 minutes after ordering to be notified the mushrooms were mixed in with other vegetables and couldn't be removed. People who ordered same items on other tables, their orders looked completely different and their orders came before ours even though they came 1 hour after us. Should of had bowls of soup and given a cup not even filled to top. 3 of 6 orders were wrong. French fries greasy and Luke warm to cold and so salty couldn't eat them. French dip didn't even taste like meat and the one layer of meat didn't even cover surface of ciambalta bun. Bread on 2 other orders was burnt and hard as a rock. Felt like our group was singled out to receive poor food and surface. No one in our group said the food tasted good. Chairs in dining room stained and dirty. Atmosphere dated. Also, they add a 3% charge to your order for credit card and our waitress didn't tell us they and other wait staff told other groups this. If you have to choose between fast food, chain restaurant or 1951, choose somewhere else. Only positive was salad tasted good.

This place slots in as one of the highest end mid-grade restaurants or lowest end of high-grade restaurants. It's priced accordingly. Good food for a good price... Not cheap, nor expensive.... Not bad, not amazing....just very good.

I was here once for a company dinner and it was ok. Nothing too special, but the food was decent enough to want to have a date night here. Came back a few months later and this time the food had really gone downhill. The brushetta appetizer was surprisingly good, but that was the only great part. One of the soda's came out wrong because the machine was low on syrup. Normally I wouldn't mention a minor issue like that, but this was just the start. My prime rib was so overly salted that after I brushed the clumps off I still had to cut away the outer edges to make it half tolerable to eat. My wife had the ribeye, which was also overly salted and told me I make better ones at home. They advertise "upper 2/3's black Angus," which is supposed to be well marbled, but ours was not marbled well at all. The fat was all concentrated in several large clumps and Wal-Mart carries better marbled cuts of beef. The side dishes were small and boring, and the mashed potatoes had tons of garlic in it. The after dinner drinks were good, if not a little on the strong side. But then the sticker shock came because many prices aren't listed on the menu. $127 for an overall mediocre meal for two people, plus tax and tip (at least the server was ok). I would say this was worth $60-80 at most, and only if the steak salting problems were fixed. This apparently use to have a reputation for being a great place to eat, but looks like it's not living up to that lately.

Our waitress wasn't very friendly. Our appetizers and first drink came out pretty fast and our order was taken in a timely manner. Then we didn't see the waitress for 40 minutes to check on our drinks. our food came and my steak was undercooked and definitely not a 38 dollar ribeye. No fat was rendered and it was very rare. I had to wait 20 Mins for the waitress to come back and when I tell her my steak is undercooked she acted like I was wrong. She took it and brought it back without an apology and it was still undercooked. . Definitely do not recommend.

Good food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. It is not loud in the dining room like so many restaurants are, so it is easy to converse. The bar is also very nice.Parking: Plenty of parking spaces, plus handicapped parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible entrance.

Eaten there a couple times. Food is good and service has always been nice. The chicken Caesar salad is good, the poke bowl was good as well and they have an excellent fish fry.

It was nice and very well organized. I'm still going to give this place a five even though some of the young girls working the tables were very disinterested on the needs of customers.
