The food was delayed to the point we had to ask the waitress for an update. By far the worst Chicken Marsala, I've ever had in my lifetime! No flavor, chicken and asparagus both over cooked!
Overall experience was sub par, even though there were a few things out of the servers and chefs control. There ended up being a kitchen fire and they paid for our drinks and appetizers which was very kind. The service was a bit slow and just seemed like everyone was all over the place. Our server would come to our table but then have to leave. We did get our appetizers and the food wasn't that great the cheese curds tasted like I could have gotten them in the frozen section at the store, the macaroni was quite dry could have used a lot more cheese/ sauce and the bacon took over the taste along with overly burnt bacon pieces. I feel we just may have caught them on just a bad night.
Chefusion is no longer the same restaurant. The new owners have changed the menu and abandoned the original recipes. It had been over a year since our last visit when my husband and I decided, on a whim, to go out for dinner. I was surprised to get a same-day reservation, especially for a Friday night. When we arrived, several tables were still open — which immediately struck me as odd. After tasting the food, I quickly understood why the place wasn't busy. There were no palate cleansers between courses, the soup was nothing like before, and the butter cake — once the highlight of every meal — was a major disappointment. I took only two bites before setting it aside because it was not worth the calories to finish it. I am extremely sad that I will never again experience the original butter cake. My lobster tail was equally disappointing — all I could taste was salt. It was as if I were eating spoonfuls of raw table salt. As for the steak, it was shockingly bad — easily one of the worst I've ever had. It tasted as though it had been boiled, briefly seared on a flat-top grill, then covered in sauce to disguise it. I've had better steaks at Ponderosa, which says it all. After this experience, I checked other reviews, I'm clearly not alone in feeling this way, and this is the reason why they were not busy on a Friday evening. The owners need to listen to what their customers are saying, because if they don't, I wouldn't be surprised if this place closes within a year or two. There are too many other fabulous restaurants in the area that truly value their guests and serve food worth coming back for.
Excellent experience...menu was unique...the burrata shareable was most delicious. My husband had the mild white fish which was offset a bit by the corn with lime, loved it..I had the chicken marsala was very good as well, the temperature could have been a bit hotter, the chicken was tender and light...the asparagus was tender and most flavorful... definitely will recommend to friends.
Anniversary date last night and this place is in our first free dating locations. Live music gets a bit too loud and obnoxious for a small space upstairs. Musician was good, playing a lot of classic rock. Server personality was great, although I think she could have paid more attention to the dumbwaiter. Food was delicious but was not served hot. It wasn't cold but considering we were the only ones dining upstairs, I expected food to be brought over faster after plating and being sent upstairs. For the price we could have gotten much better elsewhere.
Our server, Kimberley, was great! She was very personable and helpful. Food was good. It was a very quiet Thursday dinner.
What used to be my favorite restaurant is no longer Chefusion. They changed the menu about a month ago to a one pager. We asked the server about specials on a Friday and were told they did not have any. We were also told by the server if you wanted to do the three-course meal, the prices would be about the same as the old menu. The server lied and we paid full price for the three courses. I would not have ordered three courses if I knew it would be full price. The family also knows wine prices and the prices are markup 3 times the value. To say we were all disappointed is an understatement. I will not be returning.
This is not the same Chefusion. What used to be an incredible and unique dining experience has been reduced to an average and uninspired restaurant like any other in Green Bay. Chefusion used to stand above the rest in its category with a menu ripe with delicious offerings to delight your taste buds, full of options on their prix fixe menu. The amuse bouche and sorbet course were the highlight of each visit. Many of the entrees are now glorified appetizers and the flavor and presentation is a shell of their former glory . The service has suffered too, we recieved our bread service well into our meal (and only after we reminded the server), who checked on us infrequently. That too has become a basic offering with simple buns, butter, oil & vinegar, and jam...a slap in the face to the variety of breads, inspired butter infusions and tapenade offerings of the past. Chefusion was once the gold standard for date nights..now I wouldn't spend a dime there again. I can get cheese curds and a chicken dinner anywhere else in the area with a similar presentation for half the price. It may be new ownership, but not a thing has improved. Instead, they have run what was truly a one-of-kind dining experience into the ground. Such a shame.
The Brussels sprouts where the highlight, the drinks were subpar, the carrots where under cooked, the fish was overly salty and did not pair well with the corn. The service was superb but over all we would not recommend.
Chef Fusion has been my favorite restaurant in the greater Green Bay area for years. It's my go to place when I want to feel like I want to treat myself or to bring out-of-town guests. Recently, they totally revamped their menu. They no longer have the three course fixed menu and have taken many things off the menu. While what we ordered was prepared nicely, I don't think this will be my go to restaurant anymore as it seems just like a lot of other nice restaurants in Green Bay now. So very sad of the changes!

From bread to truffles burrata shareable to entrees, all the food was delicious in the somewhat cramped dining room.
An awesome experience. Expensive, but worth every penny. The staff was spot on the entire evening. The food was perfectly prepared. Thank you!
Our experience was impeccable, as usual. Owners are wonderful, food is always great, and the wait staff is amazing!
The menu and service was very good. We had the halibut special and it was so salty we could hardly eat it. Presentation of food was beautiful , menu was excellent. Service great. We should have sent our entree back.
This was the 1st time I have been back since the new owners took over. I no longer live in Green Bay , This was my favorite restaurant for years- value, service & quality of food. We were there last week, and they have lowered quality, raised prices and lost almost all of the great staff that we were loyal to for years. The only person that was there is Jim who is great. The quality of meat is not the same, mushroom risotto low quality, no mushed potatoes ??, What are these people doing. I wont be back and I will let my friends know.
