Was the second person to order food and took over 45 minutes to get a breakfast sandwich

the employees did not seem happy. in this economy it’d be something i’m able to overlook, everyone’s having a hard time. but it seemed like they blamed me for being the reason they were unhappy. seems like a management/ownership issue. food took 45 mins to come out and my chai was lukewarm at best. the bread on my sandwich was burnt and for the price, the food AND chai should have been better quality. the space was nice, but the employees brought the vibe down with their attitude. how can you expect customers to enjoy the space when it doesn’t seem like the employees even want to be there? the employee there even told me, unprompted, that she “didn’t make enough money to act like she liked it here,” which is crazy to tell someone out of the blue. mgmt, i suggest you pay your employees more or give them better perks/benefits. place also seemed to be run kind of lazily, and you could feel the lack of motivation there. it’s a nice space in prime real estate but it leaves a lot to be desired, i went there at about 8:30 and i expected it to be busy-ish but there was barely anyone in there. good thing too, since the service was so slow. do better. you owe it to your employees and your customers.

Such a lovely space and the coffee is delicious. Got a couple of the specialty lattes and the flavors blew our minds. Definitely recommend for good coffee and a cute atmosphere.

We ordered off the Summer Specials menu, and enjoyed our chai and jolly rancher lemonade. Unique coffee shop with tasty drinks.

I was the only customer and my breakfast still took 40 minutes to arrive.
It's important to note that the kitchen has different hours than the overall restaurant, which we didn't know, so we waited an hour before even placing our order
The lights were all still off in the sitting area and the food didn't look a thing like the photos posted by the owner
Latte was overly sweet and was not presented well.
Staff was not particularly friendly.

Coffe was good but food took about 25 min, which seems long for to go. I got the tacos and it says they come with pico de gallo, chimichurri, and some other sauce, but they only had sliced tomato and mystery sauce. Very disappointing and underwhelming.

Disappointing.
Monte Cristo was dry microwave french toast, no powder sugar, way too much ham and cheese, not fully melted, had to ask for strawberry jam (got individual diner packets). Side salad was giant chunks of red onion and lettuce core with shredded cheese. For it's atmosphere and location I felt like it was staffed by middle schoolers. A frozen custard stand is 10 times better. The owner/manager needs to pull their head out. 'Little lad' lemonade was good however.
I wish I hadn't tipped ahead of time at the counter. Hardly anyone was there.

Save your money! Go elsewhere.

Can’t share anything about the coffee because I left without ordering. Only had one employee trying to take orders and make drinks. Felt bad for the guy.

When you staff this lean it means people leave. Had only two people in line ahead of me. Waited over five minutes and their order hadn’t even been taken yet. Wasn’t going to bother seeing how long it took to get coffee.

Weakest matcha I've ever had basically frothed oat milk.

Will not be coming here again. Took about 45 min for two sandwiches that weren’t even good and overpriced. Soggy bread and barely any sauce on one and two pieces of bacon on the BLT. The matcha tasted like straight up milk. Not to mention they didn’t even say sorry for how long everything took. I suggest finding another coffee shop in town.

My wife is obsessed with bagels and ordered a plain toasted bagel.

It took over 5 minutes for them to walk upstairs to the kitchen to bring back her toasted bagel in a to go box.

Upon getting back to our hotel we discovered to our dismay that the bagel was in fact not toasted.

It was a very sad day in bagel land.
