Golden Basket Restaurant

I first dined at the Golden Basket with my grandparents. We all left with full tummies, change in our pockets, and I left with a job application. I worked there one December just to see if I could make it as a server, and everyone I worked with is hard working and caring. Now when I return as a customer, I am family, and The Golden Basket is, as the name suggests, the Gold standard for family restaurants in my book.
The owners are Greek, so if you decide to have a taste yourself, try the gyro sandwich or Greek salad. Tell them Katie Jo sent ya.

Amazing experience! You got a ton of food for the price, it all tasted wonderful, and the lady that was serving us got everything to our table fast. Had no issues at all, highly recommend! :3

The atmosphere is so friendly, the owner greets you the minute you arrive. You are checked on by your server multiple times during your visit. Gus is amazing, always makes sure you’re comfortable in his restaurant. Booths or tables can be moved to accommodate your needs. Everyone is so friendly and the food is amazing every visit. They never disappoint

Golden Basket Restaurant is such a wonderful place to enjoy great food, fantastic, friendly service and a nice, comfortable atmosphere. Every time I go there I find a new favorite on their extensive menu. The daily specials are so delicious. The BBQ Ribs cannot be beat. I like to have breakfast foods any time of the day and you certainly can enjoy that as well. From the greeting at the door the minute you walk in until the cashier makes sure you had a great meal, before you leave, you will not be disappointed.

Had stopped in after an appointment to grab food and was very disappointed in it. Steak was very metallic / metal tasting and came out super watery. It came out well done when I asked for medium rare, some of the fruit was old and soggy. I’ve came here before for their breakfast and it was pretty good, i thought it’d be the same for lunch/dinner but it wasn’t. Service was excellent!!! Server knew the menu pretty well and he was nice enough to speak to the manager to remove steak from my bill. I did eat the Chicken Noodle soup and it was pretty good, just a bit too greasy & bread was good as well. I’d suggest this restaurant for breakfast but ditch the idea of steak.

Delightful place. The server was as friendly as I have ever seen, and the owner / manager stopped by half way through as well to make sure everything was okay. The seating and atmosphere is high-quality and even elegant. The food was great. My wife got the Cobb salad, which was huge, fresh, and had plenty of ingredients including meat. I got the Reuben sandwich, which was packed with meat and came with fries and really tasty home-made broccoli soup. Will definitely return, including to try the Monday night rib special!

Gus is the best, he's usually waiting at the door ready to greeting you with a smile and pleasant a conversation. Staff is so polite and food is always so good. Great reasonable prices too! Hands down our go to restaurant. Must try. Never disappoints.
