I love Hansens food and people/service I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, I’ve never had a bad experience, I will definitely keep coming here for years to come

I have been hearing for a long time that this place was really good, so I checked it out. Order was all messed up, and the initial service was indifferent...no organization at all. If I were to rate their broasted chicken, I would say it’s on par with Kwik Trip fried chicken, no offense to Kwik Trip. I would gladly drive the extra 15 minutes either way to get real service at Krolls.

DISAPPOINTED. When I first moved to Green Bay in 1999, my soon to be wife brought me to Hansen's and we had a great experience. Being a Green Bay native, she was quite accustomed to the high quality from the Gray St. location specifically. We used to eat there somewhat regularly, but hadn't been there since 2005/2006.My brother moved to the neighborhood a few years ago, and every time he talks about what they're going to "order for dinner" (almost nightly) I suggest Hansen's and have talked Y'all up quite a bit to him.Tonight, was his first Hansen's experience and from the phone call to order the meals to the meals themselves was a disaster.• It took nearly an hour to get through on the phone to place an order... at 6:20 on a Friday.• Out of 5 meals... none had coleslaw, 3 had incorrect "potatoes", none had sodas and a side of cheese curds was missing.• A single order of cod was not prepared., which is what was included in our order. Instead, a 12 piece family order was prepared. Aside from being FAR more expensive, there were no lemon wedges, and the cod quite frankly... looked and tasted like it came out of a Gorton's "fish portions fillets"box.• The broasted chicken was not prepared to order. It had clearly been sitting on a warming rack under a light or something for who knows how long.• My brother drove back to pick up the forgotten items. Of those... the mashed potatoes and gravy was ruined by runny, thin, waterlike gravy with no flavor.I am embarassed. Thanks for making me look like an idiot. What the heck happened to you guys? Sad.Oh yeah... and facemasks are not chinstraps. The woman who scooped the two orders of ice cream for my bro had no mask on at all. Get on board with the COVID safety measures or close your doors.

Is this place going out of business? Seems like every time I go there, it gets a little more run down. About a month and a half ago, I picked up a pizza at the Grey Street location. Maybe the street name says it all. . Their credit/debit card reader was down. Cash only. O.K. It was a Saturday. Stuff happens. But more than a month later...Still cash only! Credit machine still down. In this time of Covid with food providers having hard times, how can you leave your credit payment system down for over a month? This should have been resolved in about 3 days. Does not seem like a hardware problem...Seems like a store payment problem. The place did not seem clean. The front walkway was muddy. The chicken being held in the hot box next to the cash register looked like it was about 3 days old! It was gross! My pizza did not have a label. A sharpee marker was used to write the cooking instructions on the pizza cardboard. Can't afford labels anymore? Last time for me. Hansens used to be a busy place. Lots of customers, fresh food. A joy to visit. This will be the last time I go to Hansen's. Just seems like management could care less about anything with this store.

I grew up on their sandwiches and pizza but have not had them in years. I really forgot how large their sandwiches are. So good! The bread to topping ratio is fantastic. I also really like their potato wedges they are the prefect side to the sandwich. I will order again.

They are not wearing masks. When asked, the staff said they didn't have to since it doesn't help. Hansen's has been a family favorite for years but no more!

My father was recently visiting Hansens hadnt been there in a long time was surprised to see that where they keep the pizzas they were all covered so youd need to touch every pizza to get one so i went with a sandwich the person who made my sandwich was not wearing a masks the other employee had his masks on his chin the third employee was not covering his nose. I still purchased the sandwich decided not to eat it and my dog would not eat it either if you want to get covid i figure this is the place to go orherwise do not frequent this restaurant

Service slow and indifferent. Unfriendly. Both the sandwich and the ice cream tasted like freezer and the place is not very clean. Only one of the three employees had a mask while preparing food, and hers only covered her mouth. I will not go back unless I know it is under new ownership. If you don’t care, your customers won’t either.

What happened to Hansen's???? This place used to have great sandwiches with fresh bread - lately, the bread is always stale, and no consistency in meats and toppings. Very disappointing to see a local legend become so horrible! If you want a fresh, consistent sandwich, Scott's Subs is the only one left in town!

Horrible. Used to LOVE Hansen's. I don't know what's going on with them but their pizzas do not taste the same, my sausage pizza that said to cook at 450 turned BROWN and the sausages were still pink in the middle. Just about threw the thing away. But besides that. The sausage has a bad non seasoned taste to it, think they use cheaper sauce or something too now. What a shame.... Don't cut corners or you'll lose your customers. Also... The service is always rude and takes forever.... Annnnd not a single person was wearing a mask ?

This place could be so great. But lacks the management and the effort. Food is good-- but just run of the mill fried food and subs. It took 25 min for two subs and curds.

The ice cream selection and portion size is absolutely fantastic for the price. The ice cream was delicious and so were the cones. If not for Covid they would receive a five star rating. Three workers were present behind the counter. Not one employee wore a mask or gloves while handling our food. Wisconsin is ranked #1 for new daily cases of the Corona virus in the United States at this point in time. As the most deadly state from this virus, I would appreciate an establishment that serves food to the public, to follow a state ordered mandate put in place to save lives. I will not be visiting this place again, and recommend anyone who cares for there loved ones health and safety, to stear clear of this place. Food service workers need to obey the laws put in place to saves lives, not blatantly ignore them for there personal discomfort or beliefs.

I give 4 star because the food is good but have to say the place is dirty and they are not in anyway following guidelines as far as masks and tables being dirty and close together and they leave cups and spoons out for anyone to touch. Management I am guessing is one not to care for what's going on with the Covid..

The employees not wearing mask even though statewide mask mandate is in effect.I brought it up to the employees and they said they were told they don't have to wear masks
