I was introduced to La Rosa sometime ago because my sister and her husband got their wedding cake here. It just came to mind recently because my fiance brought home a tres leches cake in a cup and it reminded me just how good they are!
Easily the best place in town for cakes and it's the fact they use real fruit. It really adds more diverse flavors that make it miles better than your ordinary grocery store cake. I especially love it because they use a whipped cream frosting.
Once again, La Rosa is the best bakery for cakes in town!

I can’t believe I never knew this place was on University! It’s amazing! I got a cake for my birthday yesterday thru them and it was so good all the family wanted an extra piece to take home! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful in helping you decide! Definitely will go back!

We were greeted at the door by a friendly and professional person - she showed us around and talked about what they had along with asking what we were looking for. I'd highly recommend going - the bakery items look amazing and the prices and service is great!

Everything was stale. The tres leches was horrendous. Concha’s were like eating bricks. The cake was stale. I mean come on. If your pan was out for more than two days do something. I absolutely love me some leches but the milk was far from fresh I felt like I was eating a cheese curd cake. Instantly made my stomach turn.
