Judging from other reviews on Google, we are not the only ones that have had a similar experience here. So what started as a misunderstanding on my part turned into the owner threatening to call the cops on me! I ordered tacos with "shredded beef". What I got was tacos with beef stew. They have other things on the menu that say "beef stew" for the meat, so it didn't occur to me that "shredded beef" is apparently the same thing. Like I said, this was MY misunderstanding. I told the waitress that that wasnt what I thought it was, and she offered to change them out for something else, which I appreciated. She suggested ground beef when I told her that I wanted like "tacos". (Mexican restaurants often don't have ground beef, its usually like a steak, but i figured maybe this was just different). It would have been fine, except, when she brought me the replacement tacos, I took my first bite and literally almost vomited. I didn't even chew it, as soon as it touched my tongue, it tasted like sour, RAW beef. I spit it out immediately. And I recognized the flavor because I've had that happen to me at McDonald's before, where I got a raw burger because the grill was messed up, but had cooked it enough that it looked done on the outside, so nobody realized it wasn't working properly. At that point I was done, but I'm not one to make a scene, so when the waitress came back, I just asked her to take it off the bill, and explained why. The meat initially didn't LOOK raw. And I told her that, but that thats what it tasted like. She said she needed to go talk to the cook. Came back, said they couldn't take it off. Seriously? I was like "I literally can't eat that. Anywhere else, they would take it off the bill." It's $8 freaking dollars off of what was probablyat least an $80 bill. Not like I was asking them to take off a $30 meal šŸ™„. So she asks me if I want to talk to the owner. Sure... When she went to get the owner, I started looking at them more closely, and the meat actually IS not cooked all the way. It's that whitish color ground beef gets when it STARTS to cook, but when I broke up the pieces of meat, you could see it actually was still kinda pink. Owner comes over, tells me the same thing. They won't take it off because I ordered it and they already had to replace the first ones. Argues with me that thats what the meat is supposed to look like. Again, not wanting to cause a scene, I said "you know what, whatever. Its $8, I'll just pay for it and leave a review." She goes "You can do that." And walked off. Whatever, I thought that was the end of it. I was gonna pay my bill and leave and do exactly that, and not go back. BUT!!!!!! It doesn't end there. When I got up from the table, I accidentally bumped it, and it was just far enough from the wall that a hot sauce bottle fell off the back of it and broke. It was 100% an accident. I was at the register, waiting for someone to come over so I could pay my bill, and the owner comes over and tells me "It's okay, I'm calling the cops." I turned around and was like "calling the cops for what?!" "Because you disrespect my restaurant and threw a sauce bottle and broke it." Are you freaking kidding me?!?! I didnt "throw" a sauce bottle. It fell off the f*****g table. It was an accident. She kept yelling at me telling me she's calling the cops and the other girl is telling me I need to calm down because other people are eating peacefully and I just need to leave peacefully. Are you freaking kidding me. That's literally what I was doing. I was waiting to pay my bill and leaving. Was I pissed? Yeah. But I had not yelled at all up to this point. And I told her that. At this point, yes, I was yelling, because who tf threatens to call the cops on a customer over a fkn SAUCE bottle FALLING off the freaking table?!?! And then tell ME to be calm?!?! I WAS calm. Pissed, but calm. I

Margaritas- probably top 3 I've ever had!!
Chips and salsa-different, but super good. Salsa is tomato saucey, but very good.
Chiming was very good and so were the tacos.

Overall, amazing margs, great food, but a bit pricey.

This was my first time ordering here since I heard it was a new restaurant and I really wanted to try it. I ordered 6 tacos and this is how much meat each taco had!!!! They are $4 each and this is how much meat they put on them. Do you think this is acceptable? Absolutely not. If you want to stay in business please take better care of your customers. This is unacceptable. I am very dissatisfied.

Alicia our waitress was nice but seemed young and inexperienced, did not offer refills on drinks, did not offer any accommodations on our Chili Rellenos which tasted bitter or possibly spoiled and was inedible. The fajitas tasted good but had way more gristle than usual from past experiences. The salsa was smothered in tomato sause and had a biter - sour tasr. Over all not a good value for the money. Also no hand towels in the bathroom to dry hands after washing

Being from California having tried some really good Mexican food I was unsure how it would compete.. I was feeling homesick and had to try this place out.. I’m glad I did! The food was amazing.. I loved the menudo, gorditas and tacos! Definitely worth trying a bit of everything.

Taco Tour #50

Los Cantaritos

Chips and Salsa: The chips are served warm, did not have any salt and were thicker. The salsa was very thick and chunky. It was like tomato sauce with big chunks of onions and tomatoes added to it. It was actually really good - 4

Lime Margarita on the rocks - It was missing the rocks, was served in a martini glass and was $9. It was actually a really good margarita, but kind of expensive for the amount you get - 4

The taco was very juicy, the meat was tender and was very flavorful.

This is a newer restaurant that is in the old El Sarape building on the east side of Green Bay. We would highly recommend coming here.
