Renard's Catering did an amazing job catering for our event! The quality, portions, and variety of selections they offer were a success at our state dance conference. Everyone enjoyed the food! The meal of baked chicken, shredded bbq pork, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, tossed salad, and rolls was absolutely delicious! Servers Sam and Paul were very friendly and attentive to our daughter and son-in-law. Amy, GM, was also pleasant to work with re final invoice. I highly recommend their catering service.

We used Renards for our wedding and had mixed feelings overall. On the positive side, the food was absolutely delicious—our guests loved it, and we really enjoyed everything that was served. The quality was exactly what we hoped for.
However, the planning and communication were frustrating and disorganized. Our pricing changed multiple times without clear explanations, and we often had to follow up ourselves to get basic information. Even the week of the wedding, we had to remind them about our charcuterie board for cocktail hour—something we had discussed and been quoted for but they had completely forgotten. They also didn’t arrive at the time they had said they would on the day of, which added stress to an already full day.
One of the most disappointing aspects was the overwhelming amount of leftover food. We were quoted and paid for 85 guests, but we had way more food than necessary—enough to feed at least 30 extra people. It felt incredibly wasteful and made us wonder how carefully the portions were planned.
At one point, we were told that they had quoted us the wrong prices on all the food items but decided to just raise the price on one of them “as a favor.” That kind of logic—and the way it was communicated—was confusing and didn’t inspire confidence.
We’re grateful the food was excellent, but the lack of organization and clarity made the experience far more stressful than it needed to be.

They arrived and had everything set up and ready to go in advance of the party. The barbecued chicken, white mac and cheese and glazed carrots were delicious. Thank you! I was communicating with Shawn during the planning process, and communication was consistent, quick, and very easy. My questions were always answered promptly and completely, and working through our evolving plans was seamless.
On the wedding day, their staff was equally wonderful. They showed up on time, stayed quiet and respectful during the indoor ceremony right outside of the catering kitchen, and were on the ball with food and table settings. Also, the buffet lines were SO fast, and the food was delicious!
Overall, a wonderful experience working with Shawn and the team and would highly recommend for weddings!
