Food was great , place is gorgeous I recommend the braised short rib And not not pictured smoked cheese platter
Drinks and food were delicious! The staff working the bar were very friendly and welcoming!
I had the ribeye it was cooked correctly . The oyster were delicious
The atmosphere is the only good thing about the place. The food was underwhelming with the steak not being cooked correctly so it had to be sent back. The service was polite but they forgot important details like that we were celebrating a birthday. And we reminded them they still didn’t do anything.
Nathan was so great! The drinks we ordered were hard and he was so hard on. Brandon was also very attentive and HARD working. Best time!
Nathan and Brandon were amazing and I hope they have a nice life
The food was delicious and the atmosphere and service excellent. This is a great restaurant for special occasions.
Excellent food and an excellent location. Highly recommend.
Awesome place. Drinks were great and so were the deviled eggs. Service was excellent.
Great bar with a great view. Old fashioneds are great. Friendly knowledgeable bartenders
I had a very bad experience a few days ago when I went to Tavern in Sky. I really like going to good restaurants and this time it was my turn to go to Tavern in Sky. The first thing was that when I arrived I wasn't greeted by any hostess, I was going to sit at the bar with some friends and they told me I couldn't when there were enough chairs and I was over 21 years old, it was too rude how they didn't tell them, when I was going to order the food they told me they were going to check if it was open that they weren't sure the kitchen was open when it was barely 9pm and it closed at midnight, when I got fed up with the bad service they gave me and that I really felt like they didn't want me there I just asked for the bill, to my surprise they didn't inform me that they were cashless and I was going to pay everything in cash, there I felt very uncomfortable I paid and left. Actually, I usually tend to be a very friendly customer with all the staff, I like to chat and I'm cool, but this place was the exception, I hope they can fix the problem and the only positive thing is that the place is very nice and they sell diplomatic rum.

My family and I had dinner at Taverne last night. Steak tartare and oysters to start, steak penne and the chateau briande for two for entrees, along with a cocktail, wine and scheum torte carrot cake for desert. It was a lovely setting with good service and very mediocre food with a total bill after tip of $366 for the three of us. The bread that came with the tartare was mealy. The oysters had no briny freshness. The steak in the penne was overcooked.
The service staff and manager asked us about our meal, the manager even asked to replace my wife’s penne when she gave him the real feedback about it, but there’s really no elegant solution for an expensive dinner that just doesn’t live up to Kohler standards. The steak was good and the sides were excellent, but for $110 we could have had an unbelievably good steak on our ceramic wood grill at home.
It’s a great environment with friendly people, but if I was doing it again, I would order bar fare, not entrees or starters. A soup or salad and a burger.
We enjoyed our evening, but this felt a lot more like a hotel restaurant than a destination location and I felt compelled to share that feedback with you the reader.
Their oysters gave me the worst food poisoning I ever experienced. For 2 -3 days I was absolutely bed ridden and weak
Classy place, great to relax at. Excellent food and drinks. Friendly staff.
The scallops were cooked well. Everything else about that dish was trash. Like I would've actually preferred fast food. Idk what's going on. The presentation was good but ugh. The table next to us was complaining about their food and not eating it. Some kind of chicken sandwich, and the dessert which was (I hear) flat amd served with soup spoons. They forgot to give pens with the check too. What the heck.
They work with quality ingredients and plenty of capital. Shouldn't be the case that the food comes out either tasting like butter or too bland to identify. Especially after the long wait.
We were at table 161 and Leah was our server. She made our 43 wedding anniversary special.
