Lovely shed. Huge menu. On the day before game day the staff seemed overwhelmed so it took longer to order and get seated than I’d expect or hope but the the food was exactly as advertised. Plentiful and hearty.

If you're looking for a fantastic, comforting bowl of booyah this is the place to go. But don't let the small location fool you, the menu has much more than just booyah! The service is absolutely wonderful, what true customer service should be. The Booyah Shed is a local gem!

The Booyah Shed is a small, countryside eatery in Green Bay, WI. Its bright colored walls house a small eating area and a friendly service/kitchen crew.
The standout was their homemade cherry pie. The crust was flaky and the filling was full of deep, rich cherry flavors.
The bowl of Booyah ($5.75) was heartwarming, filling, and a great value. The stew/soup was mildly seasoned with chicken, large chunks of potatoes, carrots, beans, and other vegetables. I found it needed more seasoning/pepper to elevate the flavor, but it was still satisfying.
The blackened shrimp tacos were covered with a bright and acidic mango, strawberry, and jalapeño salsa. While the salsa was good, it unfortunately overwhelmed the shrimp's flavor. The flour tortilla was also slightly gummy.
Note for first-time eaters: Ask the front window for the free gift - prepare to be entertained!

1st time ever here being green bay natives. we waited at least 15 minutes for our order to be taken at the register. They were semi busy so we were polite and patient. I ordered a steak sandwich. This was the first steak sandwich I ever had in my life that didn't come with cheese. Also it was either bad meat or doused in lighter fluid. It had a very horrible chemical taste. I asked my husband to take a bite to see if it was just me. After he took a bite, he couldn't eat his double patty melt because the taste would not leave his mouth. Popper tots, fries were good and the cheese curds were excellent. The dining room was too packed to my liking, but understand from a business standpoint that you want to jam as many in as you can. I probably will not be back.
