Easter brunch was a letdown in such a grand room…..no fresh omelets to order or fresh sliced Prime rib …..the buffet was not what I expected out of the Northland for that price…very disappointed…staff was wonderful though….Rivers Bend is 5 stars …would never consider this venue again for food on Easter….

Beautifully decorated and the food was amazing! I had the walleye and tiramisu for dessert! The service was “okay,” but that wouldn’t stop me from returning. Prices are higher end as well.

Our server made the night! Laurra, with 2 RR's was awesome and gave us a great customer experience. My guest had some food intolerances and Laurra knew the menu so well and was able to steer her in a safe food direction. She is top notch and they are lucky to have her there.

A historically beautiful dining room with tall windows. You feel like you are some lace special and the staff make you feel that way too. Exceptional hospitality from greetings at the host booth to the white table cloth table side service and departing thank yous for dining with them. Good variety of menu selections as well as a large bar and wine list. Dinner service began with a cumcumber-mint mousse amuse bouche. My Caesar salad was topped with meaty white anchovies which was a nice surprise to the usual ones that top a Caesar. The sage linguine with duck confit was so delicious that I wished that I had order the full portion and not the half size. My dinner partner cleaned her plate of Teriyaki Salmon with no complaints other than it was delicious. Aside from dinner The Walnut Room also offers breakfast service. A must visit beautiful dining gem in the heart of downtown Green Bay in the historic Hotel Northland. Looking forward to future meals here.

The worse experience ever. If I could give negative stars, I would definitely do so. Practically empty restaurant for breakfast and waiting for almost an hour for the simple order. Service is extremely slooooow, serving three tables. Simple 3 ingredientsomlet was screwedupand we had to wait like 10 minutestogetit replaced. Do yourself a favor. DO NOT GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

The service, drinks and food here are phenomenal. A beautiful dining experience locating in a 100 year old hotel. You can tell the amount of time and effort that goes into maintaining this restaurant and hotel.

We "accidentally" found this place as we were looking for a great steak prior to attending a play. What a gem, excellent service and food. It was very nice that it was quiet, though most of the tables filled up while we were there. Highly recommend!

The service was wonderful, and the food was very good. The restaurant was clean and quiet. Although the prices were a little high it was expected for the service you receive and the quality of the food. Will definitely return to try new dishes.

Great service, although it was not busy post Green Bay's first winter storm of the season. Hubby had an excellent steak, hasselback potatoes and garlic green beans, while I had chicken Marsala, sautéed garlicky spinach and mashed potatoes. Portions are generous. Flavor profiles of food very good! Wine list with good selections and wide range of prices. A great special occasion restaurant!

Inconsistent. This is a beautiful restaurant in a beautiful hotel but their food is inconsistent. Sometimes the food is good and sometimes it is mediocre. Not sure if it's a staff issue or something else. I stay at the hotel regularly for business. I wish the Walnut room would be more consistent and have a quality that is reliable.

First time at the Walnut Room o er the Christmas holiday and the hotel/ restaurant did not disappoint as far as atmosphere and ambience. Very nicely decorated for the holidays and the restorations that had been done were beautiful. As far as the food, it was just average to good. There were 6 in our party and half of us had way overpriced steaks that we felt were just average in taste. We all liked our sides except one person had the hasselback potato and it was raw inside. Our fault for not saying anything about it. We were the first people inside the restaurant and it was not busy at 5pm but we felt the wait was too long before we received our main course. We are not drinkers nor did we want appetizers. Probably will not return to the Walnut Room. Possibly would try Poke the Bear for a different eating experience.

The Ambiance is beautiful but freezing. The service was horrible. Waited for 45 minutes for drinks and early an hour and half for food. Our waitress was less than enthused to help and my husbands chicken Marsala was just chicken with brown gravy. My "risotto" was actually cooked barley. No thank you. The manager was very kind and took my husbands meal off and his drinks. Gave us free champagne too. If you want good drinks and food though, go to Poke the Bear down the stairs. Lisa B

I'm hoping it was just a bad night in the kitchen. Our server was very nice and extremely apologetic about the issues. She's just the messenger not the problem so I won't fault her. My medium filet was WELL done and extremely tough. My husband's elk was over cooked and partially undercooked. My potatoes were cold and needed more cook time. It was a very underwhelming, expensive meal. We've stayed at several Marriott Autograph Hotels so we were disappointed in this restaurants experience.

The dining room was so drafty we needed to move. Saw another woman sitting with a winter coat on. Service was very nice. Food pretty good though when we asked for drawn butter rather than the sauce on our scallops we were charged for it.

We had a lovely table by the window. The service was awesome from the hostess stand through dinner. The food was prepared exactly as we ordered. Our server brought out an hors d'oeuvre that even my normally fussy husband liked! We were celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary and it was just lovely. The lava cake with Happy Anniversary in chocolate powder was the finishing touch. Well done.
