My husband and I came to the area to celebrate my birthday. We selected Chops for my birthday dinner and we were so disheartened by the grumpy welcome we were given, excuses from waitstaff, ignored by the bartenders, and overall attitude from staff... so we left. it seems like the location has the potential to be great, but definitely needs an attitude adjustment.
Excellent food and great experience!! Will definitely be back!

This was our first time eating here. Was super excited. It was dead when we got there only a group of 4 people leaving so we were only two in bar. Never had a waitress, bartenders gave us menu and served (I thought was weird for such an elegant place). Then appetizers served to us on and at the bar. With a beautiful dinning area we were served at bar? After long wait bartender came out with our food... my husband asked if we could be seated at table to eat. Bartender sat us at pub tables in bar next to gambling machine. What a dinning experience that is when we are paying $200. Food was good but cold. We were so sad we were expecting so much more. We're were supposed to buy a $100 gift card for friends, but laughed and said we are going to put them thru this same thing. We went down road and purchased gift card at another restaurant. It was a special date for us celebrating and we were so very disappointed. 3 ⭐️ out of 10. PS - we never did step foot in dining room 😢
Pretty slow tonight but we weren't in a hurry. Nice bar area and dining room. Enjoyed both the Fettuccine and Ribeye dinners. Warm bread on request.

owners of the establishment harass, the young college age students, even though owners are married with kids . kitchen is disgusting. Half of the food is moldy. workers do not wash their hands when plating sushi and appetizers as they are told not to by the owner. food quality is not worth the price is set on menu. they order half of the food from Cisco, which is the same delivery that Greenlake County gets for their food.
Lobster tails were not good and the sauce on them took away from the taste of the lobster The service was great as was the potato and dessert

We absolutely loved our visit to Chops Green Lake! Even though we arrived about 30 minutes before closing, the staff welcomed us warmly and made us feel like it was truly their pleasure to serve us.
The drinks were outstanding—the Brandy Old Fashioned and Moscow Mule were both crafted to perfection. For starters, we ordered the Ahi Tuna and Tenderloin Crostini, and both were mouthwatering—so good we’d order them again in a heartbeat.
Dinner was just as impressive. The Airline Chicken was tender and flavorful, the lamb chops (their signature dish) were out of this world, my niece’s filet melted in her mouth, and another guest had the fettuccine Alfredo, which was classic and comforting.
We finished with the Salted Caramel Cheesecake—OMG, pure heaven! And of course, we couldn’t resist a Brandy Alexander to cap off the evening—hands down the best one we’ve ever had.
Chops exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Delicious food, perfectly made drinks, and truly welcoming service. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Very good restaraunt but not ready for fine dining. We had the filet mignon which was good but not great. The wine list was limited but excellent as well as fairly priced. We would eat there again.
I made reservations thru their PM Facebook page. Reservations were confirmed When I arrived at the restaurant, I was told they did not have my reservation. They were able to get us a table due to the early arrival. 4:30. The food was very good. We all ordered steak, cooked as ordered and flavorful. McKay our waitress was very attentive and friendly. In my opinion she knocked it out of the park as she just started working there a week earlier! The reason for my 4 star instead of 5 is due to the younger bartender. He was aloof and seems bothered by my questions regarding my drink order. He did say he has worked there for 2 years. He was not friendly at all.
One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time! The server was super sweet and explained everything so well. We were pleased to find out that the restaurant is not using seed oils to fry their food, which is exactly what we love to see!
Food was amazing! Will definitely be back!

When we first entered we spent 15 minutes or so to be acknowledged. We had to ask the bar if it was self seat for the rather disgruntled bar keep to get someone to seat us. We were not greated nor acknowledged. This was not a good start to my opinion.
Once seated our service was drastically improved m our server (Ayda?) was prompt and polite. She ensured our drinks were full and remained respectful.
We both got the Ribeye special with asparagus and lobster bisque. The Ribeye was ordered rare, and was cooked appropriately. Seasoned well. The meal came with golden potato wedges, asparagus, and a carrot. The vegetables were slightly over peppered but overall okay.
Apart from the lack of great and seat would definitely recommend.
