hot nice great ! love it and will be back
got the torta ham was nice crispy warm bun
Birria was really flavorless :( and the horchata was watery and weak. My husband waited over 10 minutes for someone to hand him his food from behind the counter, while it just sat there. The hostess helped the other people who arrived after him right away, while he was ignored.
Prices were also high for the quality and quantity of food we ordered. I'm not going to order from here again.
This place occupies an old Burger King but is decorated festively inside and played Spanish music so you get the authentic Mexican feel. Quesabirria was very good and the flautas looked nice and crispy. There were 4 of us so we ordered a second basket of chips, which were not complimentary. House margarita and paloma were tasty. Beer was cold. We were the first table to arrive at lunch so had the server's undivided attention for a bit which was great bc she was also our bartender. She was very nice given they were seemingly short-staffed (food came out slow and in stages) but maybe that was a Sunday pace. Overall it was fine but there were no lunch or drink specials so plan to spend as much as you would at the fancier established places.
Got a birria caldo and it was no flavor and almost no meat very poor taste like it was diluted with water and took too long for kind of meal
Hands down one of the best places to get that Authentic Family style Mexican comfort food in Milwaukee. The consistency and hospitality of the staff make you feel like a part of the family!
Get the birria tacos!! My burrito was top notch too! Soo good! Clean restaurant prompt service and the food was 10/10 way better than the local competition!! 💚🌮♥️
First time going there, I order a mole, horrible service, spoiled chicken and dry, seems like they have stored this food for days, I couldn’t eat it at all, they charged the mole saying that I ate some of it. I won’t be going back and I’m going to call the food health department.
Asked for menudo, got pozole !!
Terrible. I thought I was being punked because of how bad the food was and the restaurant smelled like a barn.
I love the food but everytime I order food they seem to miss something even after repeating the order to them.
Restaurantji Recommends
Food it’s really good and the staff is really nice
Food is delicious and the staff is really kind
I came for the first time here and they don't have what I ordered .How do you have a restaurant with a menu and don't have Whats on the menu wow so sad . Them they alound 2 women bring in dogs in here that should be a health violations I will be calling the health department on this place .
The food was very good. I had the Asada fries!!! So good. My hubby had the Mar y Tierra (chicken, beef and shrimp) and loved it.
The place wasn't busy at all, but our server was all over the place.
Soda needed ice to get cold. I prefer a very cold drink.
There is no wine selection, yes I asked for red wine.
In the asada fries (the bomb yes!!) I would recommend getting the guacamole on the side, just in case you need to take it in a box (like me) it's not smeared on the fries/carne asada. Music, not mexican at all. Maybe I will ask to change music if available next time. Yes we will come back.

Had a taco dinner plate for lunch with lengua. It was very good and the corn tortillas were fresh. Homemade salsa are very good too. Great place to dine in also has plenty of room.
