Just had a dinner for our 70th wedding anniversary with nearly 50 family (including 9 children) members. Absolutely no complaints. Food VERY good and service also great. We will certainly come again! Thanks!!!!

Family friendly atmosphere ❤️ pizza 🍕 good conversation and family time. Bring your family here and reconnect. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back to try something else on the menu 😋
The food was delicious... We had fish fry and was very tasty especially the baked cod... Covered with a cracker crust and cream sauce
It was decent today due to every other place being packed with graduation parties 🥱
We stumbled across this place while looking for dinner, and the service was great, the food was awesome (I got the chicken Alfredo, which had a little kick of lemon in it, and my boyfriend got the rainbow trout and he said it was easily in his top 3 fish dishes he’s ever had)! Their bread was warm, the atmosphere was very cozy and relaxed, and all dishes came with soup or salad. Will be returning more often with family!
Wow, what a delicious fish fry! I had the Cod with potatoes pancakes and was very pleased. One of the best fish dinners I've had! Jim was very pleasant over the phone and when I arrived to pick up my order, I was greeted right away. Thank you!
Always able to get a table anytime morning, noon and night. The servers are fantastic and the bread and seasoned olive oil are amazing! I’ve never been disappointed with the food or service even when they were busy.
Comfortable setting, great waitress, and good food

Great place with a warm lodge feel and delicious food! We had friendly servers as well. I had the rib and shrimp special with a baked potato and started with the French onion soup which is as amazing as everyone says. Ribs were amazing as well. Honestly, everything was very good including my shrimp, baked potato, salad, and my kids meals too. My kids are picky eaters but destroyed their corn dogs, Mac and cheese, and fries. Fantastic place for American and Greek food.

Good food & service. Ample portions at fair price. Large lot with limited handicapped spaces close to entrance. Great fish fry selection choices.

If you ever need a default restaurant, the Open Flame should be it. Have been going here forever and never have we been disappointed. Last night, my wife had the baked cod and I had the pan fried perch. Absolutely perfect. Keep up the great work, breakfasts, lunches and dinners, the best.

Large portion of really good food. Love the bread with olive oil and spices. Soda was ample amount where most restaurants put too much ice. Wait staff was very accommodating.

Me and my husband had lunch on saturday, server was ok food was also ok. this is one of our favorite places to come to. the tip on the slip was entered incorrectly. now im not blaming an easy mistake but where im HUGELY disappointed is in Tim when we called concerned the amount charged was not the total we signed to. Tim calls and right away TALKS DOWN on his server “i think i should fire her on the spot” to later call after only offering a cash refund. Weirdest and most distasteful experience i had. im not sure we or even our group thay goes every wednesday will be back.

Every dining room server we interacted with was great, very attentive, on top of it.
Overall the food looked great but was ok at best. My BF’s prime rib looked awesome!
It was oddly flavorless, served with a SWEET glaze/gravy w/ mushrooms. NO au jus or horseradish on the side?!
Parm crusted tenderloin medallions, were good & cooked perfectly.
My mom had a black & blue burger, again it looked great but was just ok.
Salad that came w/ my dinner had great cheese dressing. Really enjoyed the warm bread w/ olive oil and calamari! Lobster bisque that came with my BF’s dinner, not great.
Total bill was about $150 w/ tip.
We over looked the lack of flavor, and missing standard prime rib side. Not to mention the 5 gallon bucket wedged under ceiling tile to handle a roof leak. What happened w/ my mom at the bar, after dinner, was a joke.
After dinner my mom walked to the bar. Grabbed pull tabs & another drink, her 3rd drink, specifically. She no longer drives.
After winning a few bucks, she got a couple more pull tabs & just hung out at the bar. She was having a good time talking with a gentleman at the bar & wanted to stay a little longer. We stayed for a drink, my first of the night & my BFs second. The gentleman my mom had been talking w/ tried to buy us drinks, this was when my mom was told she was cut off. Pretty sure they meant the 3 of us. The pulled our empty glasses off the bar & signed bill.
They told us this was for my mom’s safety because the manger heard her slurring her words. They could not serve her anymore for her own protection & the security of their liquor license.
Please keep in mind I’m a reasonable person. I’ve been a licensed bartended for years and worked across multiple types of venues/establishments. The need to stop serving someone is a very real thing, I’ve had to do it plenty of times, it’s not something I take lightly. I fully respect an establishment’s right to refuse service to anyone at anytime. I also appreciate their concern for patron safety. However, in this case it was completely uncalled for.
I’m very curious about why this actually happened. Was it because they closed with in the next hour? Or that my mom is considered disabled & walks with a cane? Or because my mom voiced her opinion about the legitimacy & pay outs of their pull tabs?
Whatever the case, it was an absolute joke. Last night your establishment only succeeded in losing good customers.
Your restaurant was one of my grandfather’s favorite places, my mom & him would eat a lot when he was alive. She still loves going there, it reminds her of her dad.
Not only did you tarnish that for her, you also succeeded in completing embarrassing a 60 year old retired lady, that doesn’t get out that much anymore, who was just trying to have a nice Saturday night out with her family…….WAY TO GO!!
