This cute place is just the type of restaurant you want to stop at for great service and delicious food. While traveling through the mini small towns, we decided to stop at D &G restaurant for breakfast on Sunday, June 13th. It was the beginning of a beautiful day ride on the motorcycle. The atmosphere was fantastic. Very homey and clean! We were seated in immediately noticed our server was not in the best of moods. She gave us our menus and took her drink order and returned with the beverages, and we never saw her again for refills of coffee and water until our meal came out almost a half hour later. No apology and not even looking at us in that whole time. When our food did come out, she practically threw our plates on the table. She did stop back once to quickly ask if everything was good. It was very good!!! Great job to the cooks! When we were finished, she tossed her bill on the table and walked away. We left this restaurant wondering if there was something that we did that made her angry, but knew we couldn’t have because we hardly had any interaction with her and we were very easy to please. Maybe she was having a bad day, but it was a bit disheartening as it took away the exciting feeling of visiting a small hometown restaurant.

I was coming through town on my way to go get hand surgery in Milwaukee and was aleays wanting to stop so I finally got the chance. The service was really really good and very well priced the service was absolutely amazing not once did I ever have to ask for anything they asked me. Everyone was simply in to either socialize or read there morning paper but the only reason the atmosphere is getting one star is due to one guy (mind you he was older) however at one point he turned around and just stared at a group of young men in to have breakfast with one another, stared at me for quite some time. Many times I looked to my right while eating and there he was just gawking at me like I said I understand he was older but damn man at least say something or make conversation just staring while people are having their breakfast is disrespectful as all get out...

The little hidden places also known as hole in the wall places are always the best. This place prove no different. Food was fantastic service was also fantastic. They were very busy which is excellent to see. When we got there we waited about 10 minutes and then got a place at the counter. Definitely worth the place to go for breakfast. They ha e home-made bread.... yum.
First time visiting and my wife and I dine out several times a week. We are foodies. This restaurant will now be a frequent visit and one of our favorites. I absolutely loved our food and service. I’m picky about homemade food and everything we had was like being home…delicious! As I write this I’m at home enjoying a homemade rhubarb pie I brought home….i love it! My dad owned a bakery and an excellent baker, and he would be proud of this pie.

My buddies and I came to Wisconsin for the nfl draft, thankfully 1 of my pals loves to go picking and he found this amazing little restaurant. Great people amazing service. The home made white bread is so delicious, the biscuits and grave are to die for. My buddy ordered the steak and eggs and he said it was delicious. We fell in love with this place that 3 days in a row we drove 30 minutes back to D&G restaurant for breakfast. 100% recommend this place. Can't wait to come back to visit and eat here again
