This is our 3rd time here. We have LOVED everything we have ordered. From the cheese curds (best I’ve ever had, idk what you do with the batter but it’s the bees knees) to the pizza (best Detroit style pizza I’ve had in this state) to the drinks. I’m not a beer person per say but found myself trying and loving quite a few of these beers. Fell in love with the “hot or not” brew that is supposed to be short lived. Keep it going ! Lastly, the views and atmosphere are amazing. And the staff, amazing. This place is just that. Simply amazing. We will take the trek out to ledge stone when it gets warmer. Great place guys !
We drove 50 minutes last night to have dinner. The “experience” was a mess.
- first come first served atmosphere. No one to organize tables
- 0 seating at 7pm on a Friday, people hovering over tables
- there is no parking lot, it took my husband 15 minutes circling to find a spot
- line to the front door to order, completely chaotic, no servers
- finally got up to order and THEY WERE OUT OF PIZZA by 7pm
We left, absolutely not worth the hassle unless they get it together.
We stopped in recently for a beer and had a good time. The place is spacious inside. I really liked the wooden tables. They were very unique and it added a lot of character to the place. The bartender was friendly and gave great recommendations. I tried the Alien Philosopher IPA and the Turtle Cowboy IPA. Both had great flavor, but I preferred the Alien. They also have a food menu with a variety of options. Our group of 3 split a small pizza and it was just the right size to share without any leftovers. We tried the pork belly pizza and I am glad we did. The sauce had a bit of a kick to it, but it was delicious. We will definitely be back soon.
I can’t rate the beverages or food. Never got that far. I’m was invited to this establishment by a group of friends. I saw them at the bar and joined them. Apparently, this is not how it works. After 10 minutes I still hadn’t even been acknowledged by the server. The group decided to grab a table. So I moved. One of them left the table and walked up to the bar and was very promptly served. He returned and another walked up for a refill. The server pointed to a line that was out to the door and said, buddy the lines back there. No table service and you have to go to the back of the line every time you need a refill. Never happening. Only one server. Apparently, if the server knows you, you get served. If not. Wait in line. Middle of the day and only one server. Sorry, but I’m not waiting 30 minutes each time I would like a beverage.
Near place and view. Good beer selection. No mixers however. Didn't order any, but looked delicious.
The staff is friendly and they have a good selection of alcohol. They were decorated so cute for the holiday! A little more on the $$ side, but the portions definitely reflect the price. Cheese curds were amazing! Can't comment too much on the river view, but in the summer I'm sure it looks amazing. They also have games to keep you occupied while waiting for your food, and they have a TV above the bar. Overall very satisfied!
Very nice place in the river...like...really nice design and layout. Beer and food are solid, but 8 bucks a pint is pushing my limits on having more than 2. Would come back.
Blueberry smoothie beer was dead, but the Hop duster was excellent. Detroit pizza was alright, good blend of mozzarella and brick cheese but to greasy and was cut way hot. So the cheese slid off into the cuts. Fried pickles should’ve been patted dry before getting battered but were good.
This place has a very new and fresh vibe. The outdoor seating is awesome. Cheese curds were great.
The food was delicious but they really need a better system in place - like a host - to actually get people on a waitlist when it’s so busy. Right now tables are first come, first serve and people are just like vultures, hovering over the next table and it’s uncomfortable. The manager was also pretty rude when we were ordering and asking a few, quite normal questions. Don’t know that I’d recommend this place which is disappointing.

Food and beer look AMAZING. Unfortunately not many gluten free options.
Great location on the river, outside patio, unique design. Great place to meet your friends and a great staff. Oh and they have beer
Great outdoor or indoor seating, the outdoor area is pet friendly and quite picturesque.
Very nice place to have a beer and the Detroit style pizza is great. Really nice outdoor area along the water.
Overall amazing experience! The cheese curds were phenomenal, fried pickles were great, and the Detroit style pizza was awesome..
One critique I have is that the pork rinds were pretty hard and difficult to chew. Other than that, amazing experience. Will definitely be going back.
