Jaripeo Mexican Grill/Appleton

Yesterday 9/12 I had a very bad experience at this restaurant. My friend and I ordered pastor tacos, but the meat didn’t taste good. We told the waiter —his name was Jesus— and he was very kind. He told us that the tacos wouldn’t be charged and even gave us each a shot of tequila as an apology. However, the person who charged me was another waiter (I don’t remember his name), but it was almost 10 pm and they were about to close. This person charged me the full bill.

The food and service were great and fast. I got the Parillada burrito and DOS xx tap with flan for desert. Worth every penny, highly recommend 🖤💜🖤

Good stuff, food is consistently good, always fast for a sit down restaurant

Service and food were excellent! Food was ready in a timely manner, servers were very friendly. We ordered a double parrillada and cheese steak fries. The parrillada was delicious, but those steak fries were awesome! Prices are very decent. Bathrooms are clean. Will definitely be back soon!

Great food! The salsa that was served along with the warm chips had a little of an "off" flavor but other than that everything was fantastic! Great carnitas. Good super fast service too.

Used to be one of my favorite to-go restaurants. Some food items are not as good as they used to be. Overall, the food has been consistently loosing freshness and quality. Atmosphere and service are good, though.

Had dinner here outside, the patio is gorgeous with lights, our waiter was so attentive, we also ordered and had our fresh and hot food within 5-10mins. The chips and salsa and margaritas are also a huge plus. The fajitas and street tacos were soooo good! Love this place!

The entrées were fresh and well prepared. The margaritas delicious, plentiful and not watered down. The waiter was attentive and friendly.
The only complaint was the desert. My wife ordered fried ice cream because she had never had it before. I have and what she was served was not it. The crust is supposed to be crunchy, warm with a layer of melted ice cream underneath. What she was served was completely cold and the crust was mushy and soggy. I am guessing they made it in advance and kept it in the freezer.
A bit disappointing but not a deal breaker. We will definitely go again- we just won’t order that desert.
