An absolutely stunning location for photos! I have done many senior photos here as well as family photos and it never disappoints.
Beautiful park. Very clean.
Really fun garden. We spent a couple of hours walking around and looking at things. They have a great place for kids to explore and play called Margie's Garden. Lots of interactive things.
The gift shop is closed on Sunday, which is nice to know. The park itself is still open on Sunday.
There are not a lot of places to sit and rest. So if you need frequent walking breaks keep that in mind.
If you come too early in the year they won't have their annuals out yet, but there are still lots of pretty perennials there.
Very nice place for an easy walk, nice gated kids area to see also
Had a beautiful wedding here.
I was surprised at how the grounds were in such disarray. There were large weeds growing larger than some plants and old leaves needs to be blown out.
My daughter and her friends did their prom pictures here. Had a great experience!
Its so gorgeous here, all the time.
Another Milwaukee favorite. 🖤🖤
We visited the annual craft show today. Many vendors are here with a wide variety of creative arts.
Place is very nice. Good to take in nice views, go for a walk, have kids play around.

We only went here for the China Lights and it was very well organized. Lots to see and even some activities. Was a bit crowded and long lines, but my kids still had a lot of fun!
Wonderful day at the park, tulips spectacular and the bonsai display was a lovely surprise as was the 5 dollar entrance fee, great way to spend mother's day
Boerner Gardens is a great place to see the beautiful tulips. The hours have changed so check before you go. Also don't miss the crab trees as you wind out of Whitnall Park.
Boerner Botanical Gardens is a true gem in Wisconsin—a place I love returning to for its peaceful beauty and vibrant seasonal blooms. The gardens are thoughtfully designed, offering a serene escape for nature lovers. One of the highlights for families is Margie's Garden, a whimsical, flower-themed space designed especially for children. It features interactive play areas like a playhouse, a twig hut, a bug garden with friendly sculptures, and even a sound garden where kids can play instruments. It's a delightful spot that combines fun and learning in a beautiful setting.
Whether seeking a tranquil walk among the flowers or a fun-filled outing with little ones, Boerner Botanical Gardens offers something special for everyone.
Wonderful spot that has a little of everything. Woods, plains, water views. Mix of boardwalk, gravel and woodchip path. Lots of wildlife.
