Finally have a "go to" Chinese restaurant in town after trying for years to replace our old favorite (owners retired). Good meals, good service and decent prices. Also have a good buffet option if you are interested. Have been numerous times now and have yet to have a bad experience!

Great buffet. Disappointing takeout. Example: The Egg Fu Yung had a different sauce instead of the traditional brown gravy. The brown gravy is on the buffet.

I'm honestly sad I didn't have a good experience, I was so excited about Confucius House after reading the reviews! If I gave the best review just being critical of the important things, I would say this:We ordered General Tso's Chicken, Hot and Sour Soup and Chicken Chop Suey.Several pieces out of the General Tso's Chicken were literally unchewable, pink and raw. It was not spicy or sweet and had an odd seafood-type after taste. The chicken in the Chop Suey was actually very very tender, it practically melted in my mouth and was well seasoned without smelling or tasting gamey as some chicken can. I was very pleased with this but then the sauce and vegetables in the Chop Suey itself was basically like eating salted cooked cornstarch and water. It had very little flavor. The hot and sour soup was like something I've had in a sub par mall food court and not something I expected to have in this restaurant.Service: I noticed other tables were helped as soon as they came in, and some that were seated and eating before us, looked at our table and then at the front where the greeter was watching TV and then at the server who was wrapping silverware. I wanted to be patient and wait until someone came to us and it was literally 10 mins where the server brought us water and didn't even ask what we would like to drink. They didn't come back after that to check on us, they did with other tables though. We were able to call someone over to get some chilli crisp in oil when we asked for hot sauce (the entire quart sized container). We really didn't feel like they cared about our business at all and didn't feel comfortable dealing with the aftermath of letting them know our chicken was raw.I really wanted to have a good experience here after I read all the amazing reviews. Halal diners beware.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is my very favorite Chinese food restaurant. I've been coming here for years and years and the food is always great. My favorite dishes are their tea that I add lemon and sugar to, the chicken fried rice, beef and broccoli, chicken and broccoli, pork lo mein and a serving of their brown sauce/gravy. When we ask for more chicken to be included in some dishes, it's not too expensive to do so. Whether you sit inside and order off the menu, get their buffet or order for pick up, their quality and speed really can't be beat.I really enjoy the fact that the kitchen is inside a room made of mostly glass. That way you can literally watch how they cook your food and see the person who made your wonderful dish. When I used to live closer to them, I'd order from them about once a week! Sadly, I'm a bit farther now but any time there's a special occasion, my family and I include Confucius house in our restaurant choices.I've also always had a good relationship with the owners and servers whenever I came. They remember me and my usual orders and are open to some jokes as well, once you've gotten to know them better. Please be sure to give one of my favorite restaurants a chance!

This restaurant is excellent, I'm vegan so I was able to get great vegan dishes with generous portions ,I had different options to choose from so I was able to have a great meal.My wife has had the buffet and meals from the menu and she liked them very much she always has to get a box afterwards to take leftovers home ,the portions are big ,great flavor. The staff is awesome very friendly, I like Chinese culture and loved the decorations and they answered questions I had about China ,I had a great time ?Very clean, I would highly recommend taking a date there or taking friends and family for their buffet, great prices and fun .Vegetarian options: Being a vegan I wanted to get protein rich dinner with tofu ,hearty grains , with ,green vegetables like broccoli, peas ,etcAnd I was able to do it with the great choices like vegetarian delight (And they let me add tofu to the other vegetables. I also had vegetable soup , (Tasted wonderful) , great sauce ,baby corn, bamboo shoots and other vegetables.Their are other menu items I have not been able to try yet but next time I will ,they mark items that are spicy , to warn customers which is nice.If your a vegan or another type of vegetarian this restaurant will have things for you to eat and you will feel full afterwards ?
