Our service and food were exactly what we expected from Sandra's. Well prepared, served hot and good portions. This visit was ruined when a party of 4 adults and a baby came in with no reservation and plopped themselves down at the table next to us. The hostess had no choice but to let them so a scene wasn't created. They REEKED of cigarette smoke so intense that the people at the table on the other side of us were commenting and plugging their noses. We skipped dessert and left because it was unappetizing and disgusting. Not Sandra's fault I don't know what the staff could have done but it really put a damper on our evening.

It was our 1st time there,... it was for celebrating my 64th birthday with family. Elisa was our server,... She was incredible!!! Everything was spot on & delicious!!! It was so great I bought 3 additional gift cards for my adult children. Highly recommend to ALL OF MY FAMILY N FRIENDS đŸ„°đŸ‘ŒđŸŽđŸ™đŸ»

Review for Sandra’s on the Park We had a 7:00 PM reservation for four people. Upon arrival, we were met by a very stressed and unprofessional hostess who instructed us to sit and wait, as the bar was too full to stand at. Approximately 20 minutes later, we went back to check on our seating, only to be told — rudely — that we were never properly checked in. There was no apology, only more stress and attitude. We eventually found space at the bar to wait for our table. At no point did any staff member come to update us on how much longer we would need to wait. After 50 minutes past our reservation time, we were finally seated. Our waitress was kind but overwhelmed. It took an excessive amount of time to receive our drink order, and during our meal we had to personally go to the bar for additional drinks because the waitress was nowhere to be found. Our food finally arrived at 9:00 PM, two hours after our original reservation. The food was acceptable. The steak was very good, the ribs were average, and everything else was mediocre at best. After finishing, it took another 15 minutes just to have our payment collected. We did not leave until 10:00 PM — a full three hours for what should have been a straightforward dinner. Throughout the entire evening, there was no apology, no acknowledgment of the poor service, and no sense that the staff cared about the customer experience. Sandra’s on the Park is trying to build a loyal customer base, but with service like this, I fear they are setting themselves up for failure. Good food alone isn’t enough; professional, respectful service is critical. I don’t expect to be coddled, but when I have a 7 PM reservation, I expect to be seated by 7:30, have my meal in a reasonable time, and leave by 8:30. Wasting an extra hour and a half of my evening is completely unacceptable. I will not return and will be sharing my experience with others. If you’re looking for a truly enjoyable dining experience and great service, I highly recommend you visit one of the more established restaurants in town instead.

We went here in Christmas Eve and since it was go good, we came back for the Easter Brunch. Overall, we were all very pleased with everything. Excellent food. A bit pricey, but well worth it. We will be repeat customers.

The lower area was so dimly lit that we could not read the cards nor could we really see what was in the serving trays. This was definitely not worth the $50 per plate price. We wanted to try someplace new this year. Sandra's will remain one of our favorite dining places but not for one of their buffets.

A double date, casual night out first time there we will be going back. Food was great. Service was great atmosphere was great. I have no complaints only that the dessert must've really been good because they were out of quite a few of them. Highly suggest it.

I took my fiancé here for the first time for both of us, and we loved it overall! I had the fish fry Walleye and she had the ribs - we enjoyed both! Service was also great, we were always listened to and people were nice. We'd definitely go back!

Four of went there on a Saturday night. Small room and not overly busy, we had a reservation and were seated immediately. We were offered cocktails and were promptly served them - and they were delicious. Our server was pleasant. Most at the table had steak - i ordered scallops but was hesitant as an old school steak house may not know how to treat seafood. I asked the server between scallops and pork chops - and settled on scallops despite my reservations and the additional $10. When the food came the manager came by and asked if everything was all right - i hadn’t taken a bite but visually it looked good so we said “yes, so far.” But the scallops were absolutely terrible. They were inedible, rubbery discs that smelled like fish. When the server came by, i mentioned the scallops were terribly overcooked. She said “i will tell the manager.” Despite him walking around the dining room, he never came over. Instead, she came by and produced a dessert menu and said I could have a dessert on the house due to the “misunderstanding.” I again affirmed there was no misunderstanding, I was served inedible food at a premium price. She smiled and walked away. I mentioned it again when we were leaving that for the benefit of future patrons they really cannot serve this dish like this. She smiled and said for us to have a good night. Meanwhile the manager doing everything to avoid us. I don’t expect 5-star seafood at a steakhouse in Hales Corners. But I do expect to be heard. Mistakes happen and bad dishes go out. But I was completely dismissed. For a manager to brush it under the rug is inexcusable. There are plenty of places who deserve repeat business who appreciate customers. This is not one of them.

This was by far the Best Dinner a Chef has prepared for Me. The 6oz Fillet Mignon was cooked to Perfection; couldn’t have been cooked any better. The 6oz Lobster tail was cooked perfectly also, NOT tough at all. Mashed Potatoes, was proportioned just right; not too small and not too much - just perfect. Came with yellow squash & zucchini slices, where those to, were cooked perfectly. Its hard to cook both of those vegetables together where they’re cooked just right because they both are very watered vegetables .. the Chef “aced” it with them. Overall, this restaurant & its chef, did a PHENOMENAL job with everything-this is beyond 5 stars. They did better than The Steak Out. I was there on Oct.16th 2024 between 6:15pm-7:30pm.

We enjoyed a very nice dinner on Sandra’s outdoor patio and the drinks and food were excellent. I highly recommend the ribs. The Bloody Mary with rib garnish was a big hit.

It was a last minute choice & we called for a reservation. We were a little early but were seated almost immediately. Food & Service were outstanding. Atmosphere was charming and quaint. Loved it.
