Ordered the “Colossal Shrimp Dinner” $15.99 What a joke. The shrimp looked the size of a quarter. It sure looked like it came out of the frozen dinners cooler at Walmart, ridiculous! The service was not good. She had no knowledge of menus didn’t ask how I wanted my shrimp cooked. Had to ask for Ketchup, not out on tables. Then had to go get ourselves. Pop was so watered down it was terrible! The French dip meet in sandwich had to have been a day old and left out to air dehydrate, hard and nasty! $36.00 without tip, no! Will never go back or obviously recommend!!!

We tried Parkside tonight for the first time. It was better than we had expected! Everything was delicious. We had the fish fry and salad bar. The salad bar was so fresh and had a great variety. We will be back!

I love this place. The food and service are excellent. The motif is a bit rustic/older looking, but it's cozy and fits. The waitresses are friendly and food usually comes out quick.

We love love loved this place. Our son's girlfriend brought us there and it was literally felt like visiting someone's home. The food was great. The portions were so large we had a repeat dinner the next day, amazing fried chicken, mushrooms and batter fried Elsworth curd. The service was friendly enough to feel like family, and the decor made me want to stay and come back. Next time we're in Hammond, we'll be there.

I have been coming here for 6 years and always got good food and good service tonight it appears to have had a change in attitude and service I ordered broiled fish with no bread when it came I said it has bread she flippantly said I can take it off I answered just as flippantly if it was a dog poop would you say the same thing.... She went back to the kitchen and brought back some of the same food she said I replated it I should have not trusted her but I did now I am sick and will be for 3 to 5 days if you have a allergy or intolerant to anything do not go here they don't care about us.

Was a little slow getting our food but it was worth it. Very good!! Bummed they no longer have fajitas as those were so good!!

We waited about 15 minutes at the door by the "wait to be seated" before someone waved at us and said "just sit anywhere". The place was crickets in the dining room on a Sunday around noon which was a red flag in itself. We walked through the dining room and did not see any staff. So we looked at the "all you can eat soup and salad bar" which had one kind of soup and a very basic salad bar. We then left without eating as the whole thing left us uninspired.

Served a hamburger that smelled bad and the hamburger tasted bad! 3 people tried the burger and all agreed, not good! Still charged for the side with the burger. Chicken was not nearly as good as it used to be! Not much meat on the chicken but lots of coating. Used to love the chicken!
