A good steakhouse with a lot of charm and outstanding service
Mine and my wifes bone in rib eyes were hard to cut and a little tough around the outside, untill we got to the middle by the bone . We have never experienced this before with are steaks here . Hopefully be back to excellent steaks next time we go back
Drinks…..exceptional. Great bourbon options. Food outstanding……great steaks. Desert, yes get the peanut butter pie. Can’t say enough thank you’s for the service and great folks that made the evening great.
The food was amazing. The only thing I wish they would have told us beforehand, was that the all season area was going to be very cool when it was above 80 out. Other than that, the waitress we had was amazing and entire experience we had for our anniversary was perfect!
I would caution anyone on purchasing gift cards/certificates from Palmers. My husband and I received what we thought was a gift card for Palmers. Originally we were told they could not honor it as it did not have a “bar code”. We were given this as a gift and presented what we were given which had a dollar amount and the order number for the gift card purchase. The waiter told me that he can however look it up if I had the information for who purchased it (name, address, email or phone number). I provided all of this information and he came back to the table telling me he could not find anything. Due to this I called the owner the following day to try to resolve. When speaking to the owner he tells me that he can not find the purchase and that I needed the credit card number it was purchased on. Who remembers what credit card you purchase something on let alone have me call the person that bought this and inconvenience them to get this information. I could give him the purchaser name, address, phone number, email AND the week it was purchased! I also provided him with another gift certificate that was purchased on the same day by the same person for the lake country playhouse hoping that would help him. He said he needed time to research and get back to me. When he called me back the story once again changed, now I was told that he found the order but that he could not honor it without the “gift card”. To which I reminded him this was purchased online; he also had the photos of the certificate we had received as the gift. He then changed his story telling me that there was a “gift certificate” that would have been mailed to the purchaser and confirmed their information and address! The purchaser never received any such “gift certificate” other than the one she printed online the day it was purchased. Palmers is not able to verify this due to poor record keeping as I was told by the owner Chris today that they don’t keep records of the gift certificate numbers and changed the story again to tell me that it would have been a “paper gift certificate”. Sadly this is a $100 of wasted money and a very poor experience. They have essentially profited $100 and are not willing to honor the gift card whatsoever. I even suggested he meet us in the middle and honor $50 as a concession to their poor business record keeping and he was not willing to even do that. I find it hard to believe that this has not happened to other people! He never once apologized or even offered any resolution. Something like a 50% off your next visit, a free round of drinks if you give us another try etc! On top of this, the last two meals we have had here were disappointing. Spent $215 and ordered a 45 day dry aged bone in rib eye. The flavor was lacking and not worth the money.
Excellent meal with great service and terrific ambiance.
Wow, amazing place. Fantastic food and great service. Definitely a top notch establishment. Enjoyed everything about our dining experience! We will be back.
We went to Palmer‘s for the first time with my best friends family for her birthday. The service was great and the food and drinks were wonderful. One thing I wanted to recognize was how incredible our server Neil was. We oversaw the part on the bill where 20% gratuity was included in the total, so we had given double the tip. As we were leaving, Neil got our attention and let us know what we did and if it was a mistake. It would have been very easy to take the extra tip money and let us leave, but instead he was an honest person and brought it to our attention. We were very thankful and still gave him some extra money for the tip. I just wanted to recognize him and say thank you again. Great first experience.
Best steak I've had in a long time definitely recommend a trip to palmers if you haven't tried it yet ill be back for sure.
Been to the restaurant a few times and was always good. The restaurant was not busy when we had our reservation this last time. Our server wanted to put our dinner order in before we even got our appetizers. Felt very rushed. For an expensive restaurant a diner should be able to enjoy the ambiance. Not sure if I would even want to go back.

The food at Palmer's was excellent, as was the service of the impeccable waitstaff. However, the night began tense as there was confusion regarding our reservation. I originally reserved a table on line, for four in the bar area. Two more people wanted to join us, so I called Palmers and spoke with someone about that. Was told I had to pay a deposit of $5 per person, and she sent me a link to my phone, which I used to pay the deposit. She said she'd have to cancel the original reservation and make a new one at a different time. Apparently they did not cancel the original reservation as when we got there, there were two reservations under my name. The two younger women at the host stand were super gracious about it, explained that it was not my fault and were respectful to me. Which was the exact opposite of the male at the host station. He proceeded to tell me in GREAT DETAIL how I was wrong-that I made two reservations, and now they had a wasted table. He was a complete jerk. It created a bad vibe for what was supposed to be a celebration. Even though the food was great, there are plenty of other steak houses I'd rather give my money to. Won't be back.
