I can’t believe I never did a review of Zesti. Since moving to the area 5 years ago I have been to Zesti numerous times and have never been disappointed. I have had business lunches, dates with my wife and even family dinners at Zesti. The ambience is rustic and amazing. The servers have all been wonderful, friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely delicious. They even have GF options which is great for my daughter with Celiacs. I / We will be back. Cheers

Needs to determine what it wants to be as far a menu goes. My suggestion is simple Italian with some fish dishes. Very forgettable meal and experienc.

The first time we went here, several years back, I liked it. Last two times I've been here, the food is just terrible. Overcooked. Under flavored. I can't even eat it. It's that bad. I can't believe it says they give cooking classes here. My pork chop is supposed to have blue cheese and there was no blue cheese in it. None. I am done with Zesti. No more.

This restaurant was good, not great. Plus, extremely inconvenient if you’re a parent. My mother in law made reservations here for us to have dinner and as a new mom I was excited to get out and have a nice dinner but of course have my 7 month old with me. When she went to check in she was informed there is no high chairs or booster seats. She expressed understanding but being she has not had an infant for 36 years she didn’t think too much into it. When we arrived we were told again that there was no high chair or boosters and I of course accommodated as I didn’t make the reservation and had already made the trip. So I sat with my squirmy 7 month old in my lap. Hated that. To top it off, they don’t even have a changing table in the women restroom so I had to take my son outside and change his diaper streetside because parking is also not ideal. If you’re a restaurant who is catering to adults and not mothers, families, etc you should post it on your website to let mothers know they’re not the ideal patrol the restaurant is geared towards…

To make matters worse I feel the service and food was lacking. We ordered a bottle of wine and the table side wine service was not ideal. The wine was not wrapped in a towel and wine was dripping down the side of the bottle onto the table. We spent $65 on a bottle of wine and expected better. The food was worldly and had a lot of great options for almost anyone to find something but the follow through was lacking. The food was just ok, nothing to write home about, and I have traveled and eaten all over so I’ve had excellent food. This place gives off a fine dining appearance without the fine dining experience.

As a mother who doesn’t have babysitters on call and like to bring my son places I will probably not come here again as I felt I was unwelcome with my son.

When Zesties came to town, we loved dining there. Now…not so much. Last night my to-go order of paella had two shrimp in it, a few (very few) crumbles of sausage, and no evidence of fish or scallops. My wife still likes the gf pasta so she’ll probably keep ordering it to go but I doubt I’ll be back.

I feel like the atmosphere and the menu tries to be a little on the fancier side, but the food was basic. They did have a lot of gluten-free options and labeled things accordingly however the up charges were significant. For instance, it cost an extra five dollars for gluten-free noodles when the dish was already over $25-30. Gluten-free bread tasted like it was frozen and then microwaved the texture was off compared to other gluten-free bread I had in the past. It was also significant charge for that which is understandable.

Even with all the gluten-free options and notifying the staff numerous times they’re still significant for cross contamination . I do not believe a celiac safe.

Great atmosphere. My friend and I hung out for awhile and didn't feel rushed. The service was top notch and the food was exquisite. I had the Chicken Carbonara...the portion was perfect and you can tell they use excellent ingredients. I can't wait to come back and try the rest of their menu! We were able to make a reservation which was nice.

The restaurant was not packed for a Saturday night. I think i counted 15 patrons. The food came out fine and at good time, but it took 15 minutes after we ate if we wanted dessert and then 30 more minutes to see what we wanted. By that time we were done. Also 2 people in our party ordered the salmon and both ended up with stomach distress. Yes no other way to say it but major diarrhea. Might be an award winning chef but he obviously has no hands in this place

The service was great, the food was good. The salmon special wasn't 'blackened' but tasty, presented with potatoes and broccoli. The paella was a bit light on the seafood versus vegetables but also good. The noise level isn't helped by background music, but then I'm on a crusade for venues where you can have a quiet conversation.

I'm in town to visit family and this restaurant came recommended by a family member. I ordered the beet salad and added salmon. It was amazing! Our entire table loved their food. Even the coffee was good. Excellent service and good vibe.

Went here to celebrate my granddaughter’s graduation. Very disappointed with the food . of all of us only 1 person said that their entire was good. Service was very slow and the building is very noisy. When we received the check we noticed that there were numerous “service charges”. I don’t have an issue with a mandatory gratuity for a large party, but I expect exceptional service when this is the case….we didn’t get it and on top of that there was an additional tax on the gratuity. We dine out very often and have never had any restaurant do this…..like I said STAY AWAY! Many better options around.
