I recommend any item on the menu, because, every item I’ve tried has been filled with so much flavor and fullness that I keep returning to try a different item. Great fast service as well. Very friendly!

I work in the industry, so I hate putting a place on blast, but jeez. it was awful. I always thought it was an old adage that the steak was tough as old shoe leather, but I finally experienced it. The tenderloin sandwich was inedible. The bourbon sauce was good, but couldn't make up for the fact that the meat could barely be cut with a sharp steak knife. How do you make tenderloin that tough? The chicken BLT tasted okay, but was sloppily thrown together. And the fries!!!! How do you get thin cut fries to be so soggy and limp like chow mein noodles? I planned on going back to see if the Italian Beef stood up to where I grew up, but I won't be going back. $35 for 2 sandwiches with fries? No drinks, no apps? This was a $24 order tops at any reasonable joint, and one that serves way better food. I'm aware that most of the reviews are good, but I'm sure that's family and friends. If you've never been, don't go. It was like flushing $35 down the toilet. Even McD's would have been better. Sorry.

I ate here 4 times in the past 5 days of my week long vacation to the beautiful Northwoods. I’ve had the schnitzel and the Italian beef previously during past vacations and they were just as delicious as I remembered them to be. The new to me menu items that I tried this time around were the weekly special German-inspired burger and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The burger was fantastic, but the Nashville chicken was hands down the best chicken sandwich that I’ve ever tasted in my 49 years around the sun. The restaurant was as clean, ingredients as fresh, and the staff as friendly as ever. Congrats and wishes of continued success to the entire crew at Eddy’s on Third!

I ordered a meat and cheese tray and a roasted veggie tray from their catering menu for my baby shower. Everyone was impressed with the gorgeous presentation and of course the taste! I knew it would be wonderful as ordering off their normal menu is always divine as well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've eaten here a few times now. I've tried the poutine, cheese curds, popper burger, and a soup & sandwich special. Everything is fantastic- much better that 99% of the food around here. Everything is clearly fresh and homemade. It's SO REFRESHING to get food that doesn't come off the Cysco/Reinhart truck frozen and premade! My *only* complaint was that I asked for my burger medium rare and it came well done. Totally forgivable in the grand scheme of things. I rarely eat french fries, but I ate every last one here because they're just THAT good too!

It's all about the food. Had the pork schnitzel sandwich. Cut it in half and doubled it over on the bun. Excellent house cut fries. Wife had an excellent Reuben!

10/10 & we will be back! We tried a pretty big variety of items off of the menu and everything was divine! Everything we had was so tasty that we would be pressed to pick a favorite, seriously. Fast, friendly service to boot!

This place is no joke. I had their Nashville Hot sandwich and my wife the Portabella Fried Cheese sandwich. Both exceeded expectations. Fries are top notch. For Hayward this is some awesome stuff, they would make it in a much bigger city. Awesome food.

This was not my first time coming in. More like my 7th and there will be many more to come! I love 2 hours out of town but regularly am around to visit with clients. This is the lunch spot.
Easily in my top 3 burgers of all time, and trust me I get around. Traveling constantly for work.
The chicken is great as well. Everything is from scratch from the top down. You won’t go wrong with a lunch or dinner stop at Eddy’s!

The food was so tasty ?. The Popper Bomb burger was dynamite ? It was not your ordinary burger joint. Very unique burger combinations in all the best ways. Cheese curds were perfect ? The owner was super friendly and very enthusiastic about his business. Food tastes better when the owner cares. If you go through Hayward, this is a must to stop and try it out.
