Corned beef hash was like leftover mashed potatoes with tiny bits of corned beef confetti. My toast was black which to be fair is a dark colored bread so is hard to see in a hurry. OM eggs came out OE. Everything else was overcooked on one side from I'm assuming a too hot griddle.

I have been to Norske Nook many times, but this was my first visit in Hayward, WI. The food and service was great. This was my first breakfast visit and the lefse wraps were definitely a must try, and as always, the pie is the best around!

First opportunities to visit after being away for several years. Different management now. They don't have the beyond-fabulous brand of apple wood smoked bacon I used to enjoy here. The food is decent enough, and they still have the same delicious jam for pancakes and toast. We did particularly like the bacon, cheese, and onions omelette this morning. They also still have a great selection of baked goods.

Norske Nook has a great variety of pies and everyone one we have had is outstanding. Loved their pecan pie that we picked up for Thanksgiving.

Even though this is in a simple setting the food was hot and delicious as well as the service by the waitress was very heart warming. It's refreshing to find someone in their younger years competent and able to serve those she doesn't even know so well.

Food was good and I tried lingonberries for the first time, they were ok, I just prefer blueberries! Service was great. Our sweet waitress even took our picture for us

Wow! I had the Ultimate Potato Pancake and it was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. The 2 I was with had Ruebens and those were pretty phenomenal too! Nice chunks of corned beef. Can't wait to go back.
