Outback Bar and Pizza

We just came from dinner at Outback Bar & Grill. Sandy and Steve have figured out the best pizza recipe and everyone we take there agree. Crispy crust, tasty toppings and the stringiest mozzarella cheese! Personal fave is Chicken Bacon Ranch but we like many of the others on menu. We have not tried any other food except French fries, which were excellent. We also love that they carry South Shore Brewery’s Nut Brown on tap, along with several others. We dine there nearly every time we’re in the Hayward area.

Stopped in for pizza and were ignored for 20 minutes. Went to the bar to get drinks and the fellow behind the bar walked right past twice. No acknowledgement at all. Table we sat at was dirty and sticky. The bar stools were occupied but other than that no one else was there. No wonder this place is for sale.

Stopped here for food on our way to a friends’ cabin. Awesome owners and amazing food! Bacon cheeseburger pizza was fantastic! Highly recommend. We will be back!

The pizza here outweighs everything else in and around Hayward... clean comfortable family setting, very welcoming, call ahead and drive over they'll have it ready for u...We highly recommend Outback!!!

Stopped in and had the Ring of fire pizza and the Asian chicken pizza (forgot the name). Absolutely delicious! Wish I took a few pics!

Ordered a BBQ Chicken and Bacon Pizza. Very good pizza. The pizza was well done ( cheese bubbly brown ). They have a nice selection of varieties as I'm anxious to try more. Service was friendly and inviting. Place is cozy but a little on the smaller side ( no pun intended). I love the option of eating there or ordering to take home.

We were looking for pizza a day after our Birkie in this no snow Winter and came across the Outback. It is a small bar and pizza place that we thoroughly enjoyed. The pizza was great. Had a good conversation with the bartenders. We will be back next year for sure.

Steve & Sandy are the best. Coming from a chick that hits plenty of bars..😜 They take complete pride of their food AND the drinks they sling too! Always fun and friendly. Hands down a TOTAL favorite💯
