BBQ is awesome.

So pleasantly surprised by the ribs!! Fantastic! They even endured the 35 minute ride home. I don't want to give less that 5 stars because the ribs were so good. Brisket was just ok. Not bad. Just ok. Service was great. And their in-house bbq sauce is delicious. I recommend the smokey. Coleslaw doesn't get enough credit. If you know, you know. I don't know if it's Rusty Hooks own personal recipe, but it deserves a thumbs up as well. I will surely be back!! (I've been to the south. Had some of the best Texas BBQ that everyone craves. These ribs are ON point!)

Brisket and fries of my friend and I were just warm. We were the only people eating there. The food was great and large portions. Will return because of the quality and quantity.

Decided to give it a try tonight and we were not disappointed. I had the brisket and my wife had the pulled pork. Both were really good and the smokey BBQ sauce was really good. I had onion rings and my wife did the baked potato as our side. Both were good and the dinners came with corn bread, baked beans, and coleslaw. Waitress was great and the food came fast. This place is definitely on our list for up north and wish we'd tried it sooner!

First timer today, been hearing alot about this place, very glad we stopped, I seen other reviews about it not being an "authentic bbq" and thats fine, to each their own. I enjoyed the selection of bbq sauce and even got some brisket, and for what I paid it was absolutely worth it. Will be back again!

The ribs were tender and flavorful, and the original bbq sauce was wonderful. The portions were excellent for the price. We were happy with everything and glad we stopped in.

It's clean and friendly. You can either eat at the bar or be seated in the dining. If you are from the South or know what really good BBQ tastes like, you will find most items on the menu rather bland and will have to use BBQ sauce to give it a kick. It's not terrible....but it's not really good BBQ either...there is virtually no smoke flavor either...they rely on the bland rub and selection of BBQ sauce for flavor. Generally speaking, it is also a bit overpriced for what you get. Beans are decent. A pulled pork sandwich with chips is somewhere around $16. That's nuts. The cute fishing lure name of meals doesn't make it any better. Confusing, actually.I had a rack of ribs and a draft beer. With tip it was $50.It is about the only BBQ place in the area, so I'm sure many who don't know what really good Southern BBQ tastes like think it's fabulous.Drinks are ok.....a bit strong.....some bartenders really don't know how to make a good old fashioned or Manhattan. Some do though, so it just depends on who the server is. Rose is awesome.Parking: ample parking
