Outstanding food, service and drinks. Tom and family have created a place that is first on the list when family visits. A night at Tally Ho is a request that we gladly honor. The wonderful greeting by Tom makes us feel like family and is only surpassed by the variety of food and superior service. Once you have been here you will be back!

Excellent service. Food was good but not great. Biggest issue was the price$. Charged double of what it should be! Way, way too expensive. $200 for 2 people with meal, appetizer and drink.

Greated right away. We were not told about the long wait to get a table. Had drinks at the bar. The food was good but it took a really long time for it to arrive after ordering. We only came here because the wait at The Ranch was 90 minutes. We both said we should have waited there. We ordered prime rib. While in the restroom, they told my husband they only had one left. He ended up ordering a steak and lobster. My prime rib was really good, and he said his food was good. We both wanted the prime rib. If we knew how long the wait was, we would have ordered while at the bar. The man bartender was very nice. I believe he may have been the owner. Food was very expensive, but good.

Love it here. Fanciest place of the northwoods! Was met with a cloth napkin placed on my lap. Drinks are phenomenal. The server is so hardworking. 100% recommend this place to anyone searching for a higher end restaurant. They even make their own ranch and everything but the cheese on the relish tray is made in house. Definitely don’t find service like this elsewhere. Thank you!

Outstanding walked in and the first thing was the great Wisconsin Suppet Club atmosphere Came with a large group and had a drink at the bar. Great old fashions. Service outstanding and we met one of the owners who was bartending. He was so nice.
We were seated at our table and immediately another drink order was taken. Our waitress was fantastic along with the bus boy who was from China
I had a cheese potato soup to start delicious. They brought out buttered rolls that melted in your mouth.
They had a ton of specials and a large variety of appetizers and main courses. I chose the scallops. Wow delicious. Others had steak and fish Our entire group loved everything.
We had one last drink at the bar where some had some fancy after dinner drinks that looked delicious.
The owner and family that worked there told us the history of the restaurant and about how they came to open the restaurant.
If you are in the area this is a must stop It is expensive but you get what you pay for and was worth what we paid.
The owners which are all family and friends are so nice. The service, food, and cocktails are outstanding.

We went to Tally Ho to celebrate my mom’s birthday with our family. We walked in and were delighted by the ambiance. It quickly went downhill from there. We ordered brandy old fashioneds and they used a pre mix vs. muddling and did not put sprite in the drink despite ordering them sweet. When we were sat for dinner we had relish trays that were underwhelming. The food was incredibly mediocre to bad and considering the prices this was one of the worst value meals I have ever experienced. The porterhouse special was $70 and thin and under seasoned. They charged $40 for 6 shrimp. The waitstaff and owner were incredibly friendly and everyone was so nice. However, I would never return based on these prices.

Best meat I've ever put in my mouth
We went in this place to dine, to meet friends and 4 of us! It was terrible we waited long and the food oh gosh this is the worst supper club that we dine, I order New York strip steak it was dry and overcook when I said it’s medium rare ! Horrible even the steamed mussels it’s dry , overcooked tiny small. I would never comeback on this place and yes it’s overpriced ! This place is not worth it.

Unfortunately we did not even get served after waiting close to 2 hours! We were told it would be 45 minutes for a table. We were offered to stay at the table in the bar we were sitting at to order food which we were happy to do at first however, after surveying the room, the owner was bartending and the dining room was very behind. My husband ordered a simple round of drinks and got them from the bar.
The owner would tell us he would be right over to take our order but then he would loose himself in the dining room asking how everyone’s dinner was and it was as if he was avoiding the bar area when he could. I also heard him mentioning to a couple people waiting around the bar that they could come behind the bar and make their own drinks (so tacky!) The owner finally got himself back behind the bar and said directly to us “hey folks we appreciate your patience, I will be right over to take your order”.
He then tells the guy at the bar he was going to go take our order and then the owner said ‘oh wait, let me fill your drink first’. The customer mentioned he was still working on his drink and the owner still insisted on made him a drink and then STILL didn’t come to our table after even saying it out loud that he would be right over!!!
Guess what the owner did next?? You guess it, he went back out into the dining room walking around talking to the seated tables! We were fuming. We finally decided after this happened again that we had, had enough of this. Seriously embarrassed for the owner because he clearly cannot prioritize what needs to happen to keep things flowing. This is so important when running a restaurant.
We waited all that time and we were brought a relish tray by one of his helpers but that was it. Nobody even brought us a menu, let alone take our order.
Needless to say, we drove back to our resort with empty stomachs and much disappointment. You never know who will walk through your doors. Everyone should be treated as though they are your friend. It is people like us that can make or break places like this. The message is simple here. If you cannot seat people to serve them food then please just be up front and tell them you are full for the evening. We would have rather been told this instead of wasting 2 hours of our evening.
