Excellent outdoor dining with wonderful food and a very low-key atmosphere. We loved the wine slushies, pizzas, and the ribs were the best we've ever had. Dave was there walking around and we got a picture with him. Kind of cool. We ended up being there twice during our week in town.

We eat at Famous Dave's all the time and decided to go back to where it all began in Hayward. Absolutely NO comparison! This place knows how to prepare ribs!! The Famous Dave's franchise has lost the art of BBQ. Our meal was delicious and well worth the 2.5 hour drive from Minneapolis. Thanks for the great food and wonderful service from Erin!

Highly recommend this place. AMAZING brisket and bbq sauce selection. We also had the Mac n cheese pizza which was delicious! Wine slushies were so good. Beautiful outdoor space with games for kids. We can’t wait to go back!!

Tamarack Farms Winery is a good place to grab a bite to eat—even if you’re not a wine drinker. The barbecue is absolutely amazing, and the rest of the food is consistently delicious. The wine slushy is a fun, refreshing option, and the overall vibe is relaxed and casual.
I haven’t tried a lot of their wines yet, so I can’t speak for the full selection, but the food alone makes it worth a visit. Just be prepared—it can get really busy and there’s often a wait, especially during peak hours. It can also get pretty loud inside, so it’s not the place for a quiet meal, but perfect if you’re in the mood for a lively atmosphere.
Overall, it’s a solid choice in the area—worth checking out for the great BBQ.

We stopped to have a light bite and beverage. There were three of us and we split the chicken tenders and wings and it was a perfect amount for an appetizer size bite. Both were delicious, would get them again. The only thing I would have liked to see was a wine sample/flight option for the winery's wines.
