The walmart boys were looking for an amazing steak dinner, after we worked up there, the lady at the holiday Inn express directed us there and it was probably the best ribeye I've ever had certainly can't wait to work in that area again to go back and get another one!

Great food and great people! The lunch menu is more of a typical bar food. The dinner menu has an excellent chef and great food. We've had the Filet Mignon and it is excellent!

Delicious Food, Great Service, Excellent bourbon/wine/beer selection. We had the baked walleye, nut crusted walleye, steamed shrimp, and salmon. All were very satisfied with only the nut crusted walleye receiving a little opportunity for more flavor. but that could be personal preference. The rest were absolutely top notch, old fashions were so good we need to have several. Highly recommend and happy they are in the northwoods!!!

Stopped in this place to try dinner, we wanted a meal and not just burgers/fries. Ordered the pork chops and half rack of ribs. The pork chops was incredible, and they cooked it exactly as requested. The ribs were tasty and were fall off the bone tender, however my personal preference is more of a grilled/char rib (I still ordered them knowing they were oven baked, not grilled, because they sounded good.. however next time I will go for what I like and try something grilled). Service was quick and friendly, I believe it was maybe the owner/manager who shopped by as well to check on us. Don't let the little bit of a dive bar feel fool ya... the menu is top notch and not bar food!

Service was brusque and food was plentiful but poorly prepared and unattractive. Steamed broccoli and overcooked pasta.

Good food but I ordered the meatball and it no longer comes on a ciabatta bun, now come on slice of Italian white bread.

We were surprised to find such good food in an “up north” bar/restaurant. One of us had a ribeye, which was done perfectly, and one had nut crusted walleye. The fish was delicious, too! This might be pricier than most bars around, but it was very, very good.

The food was fantastic! There 8 of us (2 families) that had a variety of items. Everything was delicious, especially the nut crusted walleye and the smoked salmon dip. Folks that had the shrimp and scallops alfredo raved about it. Being from Chicago, this was solid Italian food in an unexpected place. Great drinks and nice selection of liquor. Loved the atmosphere too. The owner was on hand and attentive to our needs. We'll be back!

The service is prompt yet ina warm atmosphere. The chef Tanner hand cut my ribeye, then seared the marbled meat into a medium rare tender perfection. Hayward is a boujee place and it’s good anywhere you go but this place is remarkable. You have to try it for yourself and cap it all with a nice glass of wine.

Came here with 3 kids under 8 and couldn’t be happier. Service was wonderful and the food phenomenal. Not what we expected when we walked in, glad we stayed. My husband said the espresso was “amazing!” Definitely will be coming back more often!

Looking for a north woods place on a Sunday night. This place was awesome. Had a great old fashion and the baked walleye was perfectly done and came with fresh green beans. Service was outstanding. Highly recommend this place.

My family goes to Hayward each July 4, and while we have our favorites in town to eat at each summer, I always like to try something new. So my family asked me to pick a new-to-us spot. I chose The Boulevard after looking at the reviews. But overall, it was a meh experience unfortunately. I got a reservation for our large family group, and our table was waiting for us when we arrived. Besides us there were just a few more parties dining in. But while we were seated quickly, out experience then went downhill. The biggest problem: We had to wait nearly 90 minutes to get our entrees. We had to ask a few times what the hold-up was, and the owner (I think) ended up providing free desserts for the table to compensate. This helped, but still ... 90 minutes. And our entrees were a bit hit or miss. I got the shrimp alfredo, which didn't have much flavor. A couple of our other entrees were cold. My husband's pork chop was delicious, though, he said. It overall felt like The Boulevard didn't know what it wanted to be -- either more high-end with its entrees and prices or casual. I would be interested in trying it again, but hopefully our dinner won't take as long as it did on our first visit.

If I am charged high end prices I don’t want my salad dressing in a packet thrown on top my salad. Chicken Alfredo was not made to order sauce and tasted like old gravy leftover from Sunday dinner. The chicken was from frozen and appeared to have been boiled not grilled. I did let them know and they offered something else . They did disagree with me and reminded me the y get five star reviews! When the gal said she tasted the sauce yesterday she totally gave it away! You don’t make 5 star Alfred sauce the day before! I know because I was taught by a chef how to make it and he was 5star!!! Invite me in your kitchen and I will gladly make some for you! My husbands steak was ok but not worth the$
