great ice cream and great people!
Awesome icecream
Very nice place to visit if you want to overlook the beautiful lake superior. Staff were fun and friendly.
Local supplied pizza was excellent. Spotted Cow on draft. Great friendly staff. Welcome in for pizza and beer mid week. Definitely stop in again.
Very friendly people! EDIT: Added a star for the owners reply.
A big shout out to the management of Elsie Blue General Store. Your ice cream is delicious but your generosity and kindness goes above and beyond. Your local Bark Point Rd. resident. Cheers to you!
Great bar and store! We enjoyed a couple drinks while our kids got Bubbl'rs and ice cream from the shop. We listened to music outside, played corn hole and got a couple pizzas. The kids begged to go back to the "bar" for the rest of the trip. The shop has unique souvenirs and a variety of snacks and drinks, and the ice cream was excellent.
I bought things and got drunk
Bar was a lot of fun with great staff and cool chainsaws on the walls!
This place is adorable! We barely made it before they closed, but we snagged some delicious ice cream (Maple Nut is SO good!) and some local Apfelhaus Cidery cider! Very nice customer service as well!

Excellent selection of ice cream. Polite workers.
What a fun place to visit. Store on one side of the building with a little of everything, including hand-dipped ice cream. Bar on the other side has friendly staff and owner.
Small, quaint, homey, some local fare, small selection of necessities, nice selection of souvenirs
Amazing ice cream! You are treated like family the moment you walk in. The owners are such inspiring people who do a lot for the community. Elsie Blue is a must-stop if you are going through Herbster! 🤩
