🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We have been to the Cranberry several times over the past few years. My sister and brother in law drive up to Ashland/Bayfield a few times a year from SE and NE Iowa to enjoy the area. We always make time to come here. In fact - the last couple times where we’ve been up north for a week - we’ve gone twice in that week as we love it so much. The gals are so nice and efficient. It’s a pleasant dining experience. The food is great. It’s a gem out in the middle of nowhere. Right across the street is the mighty Lake Superior. It has a gorgeous view of the lake - you can sit outside and enjoy. The front of the house has a bar and dining and there’s a dining room in the back. They have a full bar and a number of signature cocktails. The food: we’ve had many things. Pizza, burgers, chicken, homemade onion rings, etc. They have homemade soup, salads and daily specials. My sister and I were just up there - and dined twice. The gals were so nice as usual and they recognized us. One night we had the pickle brined chicken which was good, the second night I had the smoked pork, beans, cornbread and coleslaw special. It was FANTASTIC - by far the best I’d ever had. All homemade - I think the bbq sauce on the side was even homemade. My sister had the bahn mi sandwich with chips and added a cup of soup. She loved it and said everything was so crisp and fresh. We both finished our meals. We then were forced 😆 to take dessert back to the hotel. Homemade rhubarb bars - freshly made earlier that day. They were fantastic. I live near an Amish community and this rhubarb bar equalled their fantastic rhubarb desserts. Bottom line - GREAT people, fun and beautiful atmosphere, fantastic food and great memories. You can definitely tell the staff take pride in what they’re doing and want their customers to feel welcomed and have a good experience. Well worth the drive if you’re in Ashland, Bayfield or Cornie. (We enjoy staying on the Cornie or Port Wing beach all day and then going here for dinner. You can also walk or drive down the street from the restaurant and walk on the beach to see the sunset too). Ps - FYI - the chicken pot pie is great!!!!!
Highly recommend! Top restaurants on the Bayfield Peninsula. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Can't say enough good things about this place. Great service, good drinks, and I would put Lacey's food up against anyone's! We come here whenever we can.
Treated disrespectfully by staff there, crappy drinks, 1 oz of booze in a pint glass. I brought a friend there after ravwho was also treated disrespectfully

By far the best food in the area. The owner and entire staff are amazing. Unique menu with great choices served quickly. I have owned a bar/restaurant for 17 years and have an eye for a well run business. I have visited many times over several years and never been disappointed. Every menu item and specials are well thought out and prepared. I always enjoy an evening of food and cocktails while in the area. All my friends agree. Try the Buffalo Brussel Sprouts for an amazing appetizer.

We came to the cabin for a jack and jill party this weekend. called ahead and JoJo made sure we had a table set for 11 people. Our server, Cindy, was wonderful to us and the food did not miss!! highly recommend to anyone passing through. what great service!
Best cheese curds I’ve ever had. Best fried chicken sandwich ever also! My wife had the South Shore Hoagie, it was also excellent. Owner was awesome! Super friendly, attentive, fun to talk to. She was incredibly busy (only one acting as server and bartender with a full room) and still was on top of everything, didn’t forget anything.
Highly recommend this place!

We dropped in with a big group of 19 people. The owner was friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked in, didn't seem phased at all by our group, alerted us of the fact that she was the only one for another 20 minutes, however still was able to grab our drinks and get started serving us. The second waitress arrived and dig in immediately with another pleasant attitude and great service. I thought our lunch would've been delayed since they were quite busy but we were served quite quickly. The small amount of staff that was there was fantastic, timely (despite our large group and other business) and the food was fantastic!! A place worth the stop!!
