We were there last night. We waited over an hour for our food order and it wasn’t busy. We could see them in the kitchen filling 3 large take out orders, so I think the lady who took our order forgot us. My husband had to ask about our order. The soup flight was only like warm when we got it. Not a very good time.

Best soups in the Valley, hands down, no comparison. If you’re in the area you HAVE to drop in. The girls behind the bar are fabulous, the vibe is classic midwestern charm, and their prices are fair. The menu has good variety, homemade desserts, and please do yourself a favor and get a soup flight. You won’t forget your first experience at the Local Lounge. Just had the Terrible Chicken sandwich. Not even close to the poor quality of McDonald's. Love the local atmosphere. Always greated with a smile and a hello. As a small town restaurant, I've never heard a single complaint... Except that McDonald's guy.

We thought we would give the place one more try after having a not so great experience before. Service hasn’t changed. Four other customers in besides us and the bartender sits and talks to them ignoring us. Tables sat with dirty empty glasses while she sat behind the bar talking to the other four. We patiently waited for our drinks and after waiting a bit we had to ask a little loudly if we could get another round. I understand we don’t go in there very often but now we won’t be going back at all. You would think a place would treat customers well so they would come back more often.

Where do I start?!? My other half and I were looking for a place to grab dinner last minute on Mothers Day. We've seen tons of pictures on Facebook and figured we'd give it a try. They stayed open longer than their posted hours and let us order food despite being closing time! The food was exceptional, the owners and staff were super friendly and outgoing! It's safe to say that we will probably make that one of our go-to spots from now on! If you haven't tried them, I highly reccomend that you do!

Very friendly staff and decent room for eating with tables that hold 6 ppl. Food was delicious and everything tasted fresh. Like the name implies, a lot of there ingredients come from local businesses or are at least WI based. It was also very clean inside and the girls were constantly cleaning and doing inventory from what we saw. Nice little Gem in a small town.
