I absolutely love the Local Lounge. We go at least once a week. Great food and drinks. All reasonably priced. They do get busy, but they busy their butts to make sure everyone gets great service.

We are not from a Hilbert, so we asked a local where they’d suggest for a late lunch. This was 6 to 9 months ago, and the local suggestion did not disappoint. We came back again recently and the sandwiches we had were better than regular bar food and the people who were working there (or owned the place?) were super welcoming & friendly both times. Keep in mind it’s better than average sandwiches, but not a fancy steak place. We’ll be back

We got hungry while passing through town and stopped for a quick bite. I'm glad we did! This place is a better version of your neighborhood bar. Their menu had creative touches and we really enjoyed our food and drinks.

My significant other and I attended the Adult Prom hosted by The Local Lounge in late September and had a blast! I love the cozy, hometown-bar type feel that the owner has welcomed, and the age range felt welcoming for us in our 20’s, yet NOT a “dive bar”. The seasonal pumpkin soup was delicious, our trio of bartenders kept everyone serviced in a timely manner, and we thoroughly enjoyed mingling with the Hilbert, WI locals. We will be back!
