Dined here on a Friday evening in September around 5pm.
Parking is on street only. We found a spot, but it was a bit busy.
Place looked like a local hangout. Decore is typical Wisconsin rural. A bit basic but it was ok.
We were number 3 to order. This restaurant is a bit unique that you order from the waitress then wait in the bar or outside. They give you a disk to notify you when the food is ready. Only then will they give you a table. Not sure this might be only when they are busy.
Waited about an hour and fifteen minutes for our food.
I had the 6-piece fried shrimp. My spouse had the Poorman.
Shrimp were huge, about the biggest I have seen. It was salty.
Spouse said the Poorman, which is a baked fish with butter on the side, was dry.
Drinks were very affordable.
The wait time for our food was unacceptable. Food was ok but not worth the wait.
Credit cards not accepted.

We got Friday night, fish fry carry out and was so incredibly happy with the quality and quantity of food. The prices were also incredible. I did have an old-fashioned while I was waiting for our carry out and was pleased with this as well.
Reason for a four star for service is due to them having my carry out completed and not realizing that I was indeed there for it even though I had been sitting at the bar for 20+ mins.
Can’t wait to be back! Food was great!

Highly recommend Steak Night the food was great!
We ordered takeout and it was so good!! We had the garlic cheese curds, mushroom and provolone burger and a cheeseburger which was all amazing! We will definitely be going back for more
A hidden gem. Yes, only a Friday night fish fry but what they do they do with excellence. The staff was attentive & aware of each patron's needs. Cash or check only. Come on in, sit down at the bar, order a fantastic cocktail and wait for the young lady to come to you to get your order & assign you a seat. Thankfully we came with a local who knew the drill. It was packed but the atmosphere was fun & friendly. Our order was prepared promptly. Hot & fresh. Our friend & I had the Poorman which was a backed white fish. Flaky & moist. My husband had the 2 piece fried fish and wanted to try the frog's legs. So he ordered that as a side. Livin on the edge ;) What a great experience. Please seek this place out. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent local spot that attracts dinners from all over. Delicious food serving Fridays only traditional fish fry. Also generously pour drinks. I highly recommend these Huge shrimp that are a 3 bites. Frog legs are simply the bomb. They are my favorite

Very good food reasonable priced
A small bar in an even smaller town. Food was good and the drinks are reasonably priced and all of the workers there were enjoyable
