Went there tonight on a Friday night at 7:00 pm waited for 15 minutes for service and no one came to the car. Only one person running around trying to take orders. Only saw one other worker the entire time running in and out of the building trying to fill drinks and stuff. Left as no one ever came to our car. Won't be back. A business owner should be able to foresee they will be busy on a Friday night especially when the first high school football home game is in town.

Stopped in at 7:15PM on 8/20/19. Could not get service. I had three hostesses walk by. They apparently did not know I drove up... Or did not care to check if I had been served. It was not very busy at that time. Apparently no one working there with any authority. I sat there for some time to see how long it would take them to check on me. I had to finally just drive away. I had to give one star as zero stars were not an option.

Went there today for a birthday lunch and I am not sure I will back. We went one time last year and it was fine. Today the service was great. Our waitress was prompt, helpful and friendly. The food was atrocious. My husband got the “#1 voted Shrimp Po ‘Bo Burgerâ€. He said it might have been the only burger in the competition. The meat was dry. The shrimp were flat and over fried. I had the Holmen with no onions. It came with gobs of onions. The burger meat tasted like a warmed up frozen patty. It was tasteless, dry and over cooked. My son did like his burger but all of our buns were so old and dry. Our glasses came to us dripping off the bottom. Even the one she carried solo. It was way too much money for the quality we received.

Really glad to see this place continue after The Frosty Mug. It's a little pricey, which is why it is not a 5 star rating. Food is very good, need to build indoor seating.

Kate's North is AMAZING I had a mushroom swiss burger with fries and the burger was done perfect. The beef patty was thick and juicy with a generous portion of mushrooms topped with melted swiss cheese. The bun was warm soft with just the right chew it was an excellent complement to the burger. The best mushroom swiss burger I have had in a long time. The service was speedy quick as I took my lunch to go! I would highly recommend Kate's North to everyone and I will return soon!

Our service was prompt, but food was disappointing. Our chili cheese dogs were served cold on stale buns. They tasted like Oscar Meyer hotdogs that had been sitting in a roaster with water all day.

Food was ok. Service was terrible. I parked and waited about 5 minutes and my wife and I walked up to the door and stood there waiting as staff stared at us, walking by without saying anything to us. Went back to our car abd waited some more. I got up and walked back up to the door as the staff all just looked at me. I kind of loudly asked whether we order at a window or in my car and the waitress said she didn't see me. My car was pulled forward in the parking spot about 5 feet more than the vehicle "blocking" me and the same waitress and I made eye contact roughly 8 minutes prior as she was serving another vehicle. Also 2 other customers got out of their cars and asked where they order because it takes so incredibly long for them to come to your car. Super disappointed and not coming back. Awful service.
I was pleasantly surprised with my visit today. The blonde server that made my rootbeer float and it was PERFECT, she gave it to me fast, and she was so nice the whole time. This girl is the best server at Kate's!

Horrible service. Waited in my car to be helped for 5 minutes. Parked the car and sat at a table for 5 minutes and still no service. Not impressed and will tell as many people as I know. Perhaps Facebook is a good place to start.

Terrible service! You're expected to pay and tip before getting your food. You wait forever to get waited on if at all. Food has gone down hill since the Frosty Mug closed. Unfriendly waitresses. Won't be back!

The food was fabulous! Nothing like when I was a kid. I ordered the BBQ Pork sandwich and FF. The sandwich comes on a Talame style bun, piled with sweet juicy pulled pork, bacon, sweet coleslaw, and real cheddar. The fries were great too but the sandwich was outstanding!
