Very much a bar. Go up to bar to place your food order. They had char grilled haddock for one of the fish options. Food was good, limited seating - mostly high top tables and bar. Noisy! But food was good!

Whomever gave this place 3 stars is a city slicker. Great dive bar where it belongs on a lake! I'd hate to spread the word because this best kept secret is going to get too busy. Saturday chicken dinner is hard to beat. Low priced drinks to top it off. Show up in a Ferrari and you won't like this place!

The service was great the prices were absolutely cheap. The apps we had were pretty much just frozen bag food but cooked very well. The daily specials were fresh and very well done up. The atmosphere was nothing like we expected the pictures on their website and Facebook made it look much better than it is. On first impressions it's a dive of a dive bar but it grows on you as you realize it's just a down homey kind of place that probably doesn't see to many strangers walk in. Mostly an older crowd of local people one couple had brought their own cribbage board and cards lol the dice cup is wrapped in duct tape. Just a great old time Wisconsin bar it's a 30 minite drive for us we probably won't go there very often but it was an interesting place to visit. Be aware no credit cards Cash only but there is a real slow working atm in the back lol I'm guessing a phone line connection
Parking: Only about 6or7 spots in front maybe a few more on the side
WOW! Absolutely WOW! I had the grilled haddock and it was the best fish fry I have ever had at Ej's or honestly anywhere else! My compliments to the chef! Its been a long week and it hit the spot. Awesome!!

Nice friendly little bar. Decent bar food and drinks. Bartender cooks and bartends at same time so depending on how busy the place is you may have to be patient waiting for service. Cold away from bar ( I am talking meat locker cold) and at least the men's restroom is cave like but serviceable.
