Just had an amazing dinner at the Black Rooster. If you are looking for atmosphere, relaxed dining, good service and excellent food I recommend the Black Rooster. Great menu. I had the scallops and my husband had the long bone pork chop, yum!

I have been to Black Rooster Bistro several times over the last few months. It never disappoints. I’ve really enjoyed the charred Zucchini Appetizer that has been available recently. The Long Bone Pork Chop is incredible over a bed of crispy potatoes. My Favorite may be the Grilled Lamb Dish with the fried green chic peas. I really appreciate their attention to details on each dish. Also the changing menu and using many locally sourced items is incredible. Can’t wait to get back for my next great dining experience!!!

Every time we go to Black Rooster, we are even more amazed. My husband is a steak aficionado and their steak is hands down the best he's ever had. The curry scallops were out of this world. Amazing atmosphere, vibe and staff. We would eat there every day if we could!

All around good food. Nachos were good, moderate portion. Scallops were excellent. Drinks fair. I did not like how the bill was calculated. Amount was for credit card and we paid cash. 4% extra fee which is common. However, this fee should not be added until you use the card. We include tip with our cash and made it awkward.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place and will be coming back for my anniversary dinner! The steak was great, drinks were great, and I tried dumplings for the first time ever and they were great too. Our server was very sweet too.

Wow! I have never actually eaten here until tonight! I finally made a point to go in! We had walleye and it was incredible. Mashed potatoes were perfect! The service is 5star and what a beautiful location! I was absolutely impressed with dinner. I work in the service industry so I’m very picky. I’ll absolutely be going back. ❤️

My wife and I ate here for a much-needed night out and this place definitely delivered. Our server, Natalie, was informative and attentive. We ordered the octopus appetizer, walleye, and duck breast. Also started with some signature cocktails. Cool atmosphere and delicious food. I highly recommend.

Had an amazing meal and drinks here. The Halibut special was delicious. The fish had a great texture and was not buried in sauces. The peas also complemented the overall taste. Wife had the duck. It was rare and glorious. Farro grains that came with it were delicious and added a lot of texture.
Bartender (Chad) is really nice. Mixes great drinks and had nice recommendations.

I was served spoiled shrimp and politely requested new order. They made excuses and looked at me like I was lying. Rotten shrimp smells lekker ammonia. Cat piss. Im a very fair person but when you serve me rotten hazardous food I will let you know. Willing to work with them and they were still rude. Also, the food I did have there that was not a spoiled was mediocre. Black rooster bistro is over priced and poor serviced. I would not lose a wi k of sleep knowing this establishment went out of business.
