This rating is not based on the baked goods. They are fine. But this bakery is charging $23 for a dozen donuts in store when the menu posted at their website lists $18.50. Obviously the mismatch is a problem. But it’s also a 25% increase from the prior price. Even in the current times, that’s insane. When the price differential was pointed out, I was instructed to come back in an hour or so and talk to the owner. The bakery is never staffed fully, so if you just want a donut the worker is likely making a bagel sandwich and coffee for the person in front of you, so it’s a 5-10 min wait for an overpriced donut.

We love buddies! Great place to bring the family for donuts, bagels and more. My absolute favorite on the menu is the Amigos wrap with an extra egg. They hand make the sandwiches so bring a little patience, its a little slower than a fast food joint, you might be waiting 5-10 minutes if busy! Worth the wait, we use the time to enjoy our family or catch up with other locals.

Id give zero stars if i could.We ordered 20 dollars worth of food, two donuts and a hot sandwhich. Got there and the line was 15 people long. No spot fpr online orders, guess im waiting, 5 min go by line never moves, employee asks the name of my online order since the line is not moving. I tell them, 7 employees go looking for my order and telling eachother the order name as two employees do all the work up front for everyone else.Lots of yelling amd chaos between the employees. After another ten min they bring out a bag with the hot sandwhich and say sorry for the wait. Bout to leave and notice bag feels like there is only one thing in there. Ask about our donuts and they respond with what kind of donut did you want. I told them we orderd and paid for chocolate and glazed. He said they are all out and asks if i want anything from the show box(4 total donuts) none are the type or even close to the type we wanted. Just the weird leftover ones, i tell them which ones i want. They proceed to hand me one donut despite us paying for two and it wasnt even the right donut. Meanwhile i see in the back room trays upon trays of donuts, some chocolate and glazed. At this point i assume everyone on the staff is incompetent, high, or clocked out and leave with what food i could scavange from "Poopys bakery"All the while the line never moved, in fact two people lined up behind me in this time and another two just walked in and were discussing leaving for another place, to which i encouraged them to. Looked like only one person there knew what they were doing. Felt bad for everyone else in line stuck waiting still.My gf liked the sandwhich. The donut tasted good. So its just so sad they ruined their good food with bad management, ill equipped and poorly trained staff. Which ultimately is the owners fault.1. Make an online pick up area.2. Make sure ur online ordering matches what u have and can actually give to customers.3. Pay for a better manager or get employees who have experience and pay a little more for them.4. Dont hire all new people and expect them to habdle the busiest day amd time of the week.Just to be clear i do not blame these workers, if they were not taught how to do things there is not a great shot they will just know or figure it out quickly by themselves on the busiest day of the week. Most lf them highschoolers and such. So again its all on the owners, if u got the service up to match the food quality youd have satisfied customers and more repeat customers(better business plan)

Do you need this place to be able to take time to make your order AND get it wrong? Then this is the place for you and I would NOT waste time visiting them. I guess the convenience fee charged with the order is for me to not be happy with the outcome of this visit.

Pros: The pastries and donuts were sooooo good! I tried several different kinds of baked goods and loved each one. Way better than most of the other bakeries I've visited in the Western WI/ Eastern MN area (which is, admittedly, a lot)Cons: While I, personally, am willing to pay more for better food, I do want to note that the prices for sweets are a bit higher than many other bakeries. For me, though, it's definitely worth it!Also, when I visited, it was PACKED with people, so the wait in a line was a little long, but again, this is simply a sign that they are doing something right, to have so many customers!I would absolutely go here again... and again!

Stopped by to get a bagel with Hummus today but was told they no longer offer Hummus. Maybe that should be removed from the menu in store and online? Went with a bagel and peanut butter instead. Opened up the wrapper and just a complete mess, peanut butter all over the entire thing. Very disappointed.
