I was jonesing for a fresh new taste and word on the street was Lotus had some creative flavors. Ok tbh, it was midwestern folks saying “creative” so maybe they were being PA but whatever… Anyway, I went in and they had Goat Milk Ice Cream. I saw a box of Nutter Butters and asked if they could mix em up in a shake and man, what a banger. They were so stoked to try out a new blend. It turned out great and we all high fived over the victory. PS, there’s a good dispensary in the same hallway. The two definitely compliment each other.

With so many ice cream shops repping the same ice cream from the same manufacturers, it is really refreshing to see a place making their own ice cream and their own flavor combinations. We had four people in our group who all had different flavors and they were all a big hit. We will definitely be coming back.

Outstanding ice cream! I had the Urban Goat and it was fantastic! Others in our group had: Joy, Bubble Gum, Chocolate Chip, and Carmel ice creams, they were also very very good!

I’ve been sleeping on Lotus creamery. We just went for the first time last night and it’s amazing! Not only is the ice cream handmade, but they’re also super unique flavors. There are probably 10ish choices and I can confidently say I have never seen any of them before. The owner, Matt, gave us a number of samples. I had the MacStachio which is pistachio, macadamia, and cookie dough. 10/10 recommend! The owner also owns Matt’s Basement in Stillwater. I haven’t been there before but plan to go now!

Wanted to like this homemade ice cream shop but unfortunately our experience was a bust. Paid over $20 for three single-scoop ice cream cones. The ice cream left something to be desired in my opinion. No free water available, only option was bottled. Unfortunately will not be going back.

I got there a bit after 2p since that was the hours that were posted on the door when I went by earlier. The owner was just arrived and said that they actually were opening at 4p. Still he offered to help me which was great! He offered samples. I tried only 2. I did order a couple of other flavors not because the ones I tried were not good but I already had something in mind. LOVE that they made their own ice cream!? I got a scoop of Lubic Strawberry and a mocha… sorry I can’t remember the name. Both are excellent. Each have a balance of flavors. I did not find the texture icy like another reviewer. It was smooth and clean. Of the two, the strawberry was the winner! The shop itself was nice but small. Not much seating to eat there. Location is nice because on the main street of downtown. I wish there was an outdoor seating area especially on a beautiful day like it was today. This was my first time and definitely not my last! I used to live in Hudson but moved away before this place existed. Thank you for opening your shop and making great ice cream! Should have a picture from the outside. Also google does not show the front of the store.
Parking: Can park in the back since there is a lot for things in that building. Otherwise the public lot where you can park for free for 4 hours is just across the street and less than a block up the hill.
