We are by no means regulars, but my husband and I always stop when we make our way from the Twin Cities to Hudson - it’s a perfect date-night spot with pages of incredible cocktails. Tonight however, we stopped in as a family with our kiddos and parents, and were nervous as we weren’t sure how things would go with a toddler and a baby. The staff were all incredibly accommodating and kind to us and our kids, service was stellar as always, and at the end of our visit, our 2 year old was even gifted her first lucky rabbit’s foot! I’m guessing it was one of the owners who we chatted with and who made her week - but you’ve ensured lifetime guests and we will keep recommending your spot to everyone we know. Thank you!!!

We did a tour for my husband’s birthday today and had so much fun! The owner Guy and bartender Eric made this an unforgettable experience for all of us! Not to mention, the cinnamon whiskey is the best I have ever had! 10/10 recommend!

I visited this bar recently, and I have to say, the experience was far from enjoyable. The bartender was more interested in flirting with the women in the establishment than actually doing his job. It was incredibly unprofessional and disgusting to watch as one of these women was my best friends sister who is obviously many many years younger than the gentleman with the face tattoos.
Speaking of drinks, mine was an absolute disaster. I ordered a cocktail that was supposed to have a hint of smokiness, but what I got tasted like a piece of burnt wood. It was as if the drink had been smoked for way too long, leaving it almost undrinkable. There was no balance in the flavors, just an overwhelming charred taste that ruined the entire experience.
I definitely won’t be coming back. If you’re looking for a place with a professional behind the bar in both their quality of service and patronage this is not it.

We had the pleasure of meeting Mixologist Eric tonight, our first time at Lucky Guys! We had a great time on the patio, beautiful view. A quieter Wednesday evening, we tried a variety of Old Fashioneds and enjoyed chatting with Eric. He makes delicious drinks!!!

Fantastic drink menu! Great place for hosting an event. Staff were super accommodating and friendly. We had a large group and they customized a paper sheet order process so each couple could order and pay as drinks were being made. It was so organized and really helped with our 50+ person group. Everyone raved about the drinks! We will be back.

Eric is the goat mixologist bartender.
The creations he can whip up within cocktails is absolutely unparalleled and unmatched from anywhere else. Highly recommend to visit during a less busy time and sit at the bar to ask for his recommendation based on your spirit preference and just trust whatever he mixes and sets on your coaster. Every cocktail that we had was delicious, but his creations were next level. The Lava Lamp (hidden menu) and kimchi bloody mary were mindblowing. The bloody doesn't have the usual fixins on the glass, but leaves nothing behind to be desired. The most wild experience is the Dinner Cocktail - made with dijon mustard, peach puree, and hot sauce. You can definitely taste the mustard and it is an abolute whiplash how delicious it is and completely unexpected how the flavors can work together so well. As he so eloquently described, "it is an orchestra of flavors."
Other than the spectacular service and stellar drinks, the atmosphere inside and out is wonderful and inviting. The patio is so comfy with a great view of the river.
We were only visiting Hudson for a hiking/ beach trip, but we are returning to this great city JUST to visit Eric very soon.

Lucky Guys Distillery is definitely a destination. The space is comfortable and the staff is amazing (shout out to Michelle). The menu is fun, unique, yet approachable. They have a small food menu to ensure you and your party are having a great time. Don’t skip Lucky Guys! I can’t wait to return to continue making my way through their huge menu!
