Mallory's Restaurant & Rooftop Bar

Lovely atmosphere and delicious food. This was our second time here and we will be coming back.

Food was way over priced the ambient definitely not a date night place drove from Minneapolis just to check it out was very disappointing.

My husband and I have been to Mallory's several times. Food is always good. It's just that I always feel a little out of place. Seems to cater to a younger crowd (we are in our late 60's) and we never feel quite welcome. Bar patrons seem to get the most attention. We go out to eat every single Friday night and this last time really made me put Mallory's at the bottom of the list for awhile. If you like to eat early...say 5pm, make sure they have wait staff that early in the evening or your service may be a little awkward.

We have always had fantastic meals at this establishment, so I do not want this to be perceived as overtly negative.. However.. My wife and I had planned our Valentines date night for the 15th, and assumed it'd be no issue to accept the $20 cancellation fee.. Fastforward to several hours before, and our sitter had ditched their car and were unable to watch our kids. We called to see what could be done and were told we could bring the kids, or the fee would be applied. We understood, agreed to it, and even moved it up to 4:30 (3 hrs earlier) to ensure our 1.5 & 4 y/o children wouldn't be disrupting anyone else's date night for the holiday weekend. Upon arriving, things went well until the food came, and our steak was extremely tough and fatty (certainly a first). The waiter didn't seem to understand our dissatisfaction, so asked the owner to intervene. She was very understanding, said they would prepare another, and even offered to box it (as our kids had begun to get restless after their meals). The second steak unfortunately was not much better.. Fairly tough and fatty, despite having several NY Strips there before and enjoying. Again, it is still a great place, but couldn't help but wonder how we spent as much as we did on the quality, and felt very unimpressed. The owner still did her best to ensure we were satisfied, which I will always recognize and appreciate.

Duck wontons were amazing, the rest of the food was just ok. Had higher expectations, and was not aware the menu was trimmed down for Valentine's Day. Was overpriced for the quality.

The food was good and the service by the new waitress was good. However, the waitress was very new and I had asked a couple of questions on what was included with the meal before I ordered. However, when I received the bill I was charged for the item that I was told was included and the waitress said she would fix it The manager then came over and rudely said that the item was not included and the priceis on the menu. The choice was soup or salad andI iI asled if the French Onion soup was included as the soup and was told yes which is why i ordered it or I would have ordered the salad. She said her waitress was wrong and the price is on the menu. Yes it was but under where the soups andvsalads were listed, not on the description on the entree which said soup or salad. They did have another soup which is why I wanted to clarify. Ok. I was given wrong information and have no problem paying the additional amount. My reason for the low rating was because the manager was so rude to us for a mistake that was made by them not me. I will not be returning.

We were surprised at the price of the entrees. Our waitress was very good and the food was also good.

Great service, good cocktails & appetizers & sitting on the rooftop especially during the holidays is lovely. The view is beautiful & the fire tables are so cozy. Our bartender & server, Megan, were both wonderful! I highly recommend for a holiday gathering or a date!

We have enjoyed going to Mallory's over the last several years because the service is great and the steaks are perfect. Very kind wait-staff. We will keep going there!!!!

Mallory's is a Fine Dining Experience. We like early dinners. Waiting until 5, when the crew comes in would be best but, the service was still there. Costly yes. But, for their location in Hudson, You wouldn't expect that the Fine Dining Mallory's Offers would be there! It Is!! Enjoy! Tom

Our bartender at the rooftop bar was very personable, and friendly. His name is Hogan. I will definitely be back to visit the rooftop bar. I had an amazing steak for dinner at the restaurant. The Hostess was very kind, and considerate.

Went into this place for a drink and to see if we might want to try the rooftop for dinner. Manager at the door acted like the rooftop was packed we could try. We walked up like 6 people up top on a Saturday afternoon. We grabbed a table and waiter says to us I need to leave my chair on the rail as I moved it to get a better view. I said no problem we will just switch tables. So we move and I order a drink and he says if you’re not eating you cannot sit here. Well that was it for me walked out. Clownshow. I’d be embarrassed if I owned that place.

Delicious salads, super fresh. Loved the mojito too... will definitely be back!
