My husband & I ate here for our Anniversary. His steak was perfectly done, & my mediterranean pasta was so good! Our waiter was great too!

Just had a beautifull crusted Parmesan Valley at Pier, been fortunate to be served by Johnatan! This handsome charming boy has some fantastic interpersonal soft skills, got me by surprise with quick chitchat when I realised his superb knowledge level of geography.. Specifically about Armenia! What a pleasant way to get connected with customers . Thanks Johnatan, we will definitely be back!. BTW, smart and proactive Management would use Johnatan's charisma, outgoing character and h people connecting skills for future International relations specialist for this establishment when you decide to spread, make branches in different country. Newer wait staff... likely didn't help her much as her service wasn't quite Pier 500 quality yet. She'll get there, without a doubt. Will definitely return.

1st visit dining in - sat at the bar.
Manager was doing inventory and I could tell that she took her job seriously.

The hosts were very friendly and courteous.

The bartender could definitely read the room and wasn't cheesy or overbearing. She gave me straightforward service and took care of the service well in a timely manner.

The Old Fashioned cocktail on the menu is pre batched, but still rather solid.

French onion soup was delicious!!!!

The bowl i had was very light eating with a decent portion but I felt the shrimp lacked flavour.

I'll definitely return.

Best spot in Hudson for a quite dinner. The patio in the summer is the best!

We went here for lunch around 2pm on a beautiful Friday. This restaurant is in a beautiful spot on the river. They have indoor & outdoor dining. Igloo seating was on their patio, but it may just be seasonal as we were there in March.
Accessibility: There is a pay parking lot to the side of the entrance with accessible parking. There is a curb cut & ramp from the parking lot to get inside. Once you're inside, there are a couple small ramps to get to different parts of the restaurant. They have a good amount of regular height tables along with some high tops. The bathroom has a nice size accessible stall for a wheelchair user.
The food was amazing!! I had the yum yum steak bowl & my sister had the walleye bowl. The drinks were tasty, too.
The service was okay. It felt like they were a bit nervous about something. I'm not sure if they're understaffed.
Overall, it was a good spot & I would go back again!

Pier 500 is such a solid restaurant that never disappoints. On our many-eth trip tonight, it was delicious yet again. The Minute Chicken was perfect as per usual. The special fried cauliflower app was INSANELY GOOD (pls put it on the regular menu!! ;) ). Got the banana cream pie to go, and it was so tasty. Astrid, our server, was so kind and prompt. Thanks yet again, Pier 500!!

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Good kids menu, and includes crayons and something to draw on.

We have loved this restaurant for many years and have given 5 stars however today we had an unsatisfactory experience. Some of our favorite foods have changed in negative ways. The smoked Chicken Gouda Nachos used to be the best in the Twin Cities area because they were deconstructed, with topping in middle so u could garnish your own way. Now they are just terrible the sauce is too thin and the nachos now have lettuce on them and it’s a big soggy pile of CHIPS. Also Banana Cream pudding should NOT have chocolate on it. We love this restaurant and r really sad about the food changes for some of their iconic dishes.

Server wasn't all that attentive. Had to keep flagging her down even though she walked by us about every minute hearing to the servers station.

Parking: Atmosphere is great. Food was pretty good and was served quickly, once ordered. Great beer selection with New Glarus on tap
