Best sushi I've had since moving to the Midwest. You have to try the veggie fried rice. The staff are super sweet.

I don’t often leave reviews, but the service here was awful and after seeing an average 4.6 stars I don’t understand how. The food was decent, well prepared but very average quality. But our service was truly shockingly rude. We came for lunch at 1pm on a Friday and we were treated as an inconvenience to the wait staff from the moment we sat down. Rushed to order mid conversation, annoyed glares from our waiter when we asked for more time to read through the menu. And as we finished talking at the end of our meal, they cleared our waters to signal “get out now” despite staying only 10 minutes past the closed time between lunch and dinner.
Would not recommend this or go back again with such rude service

Sapporo is a true gem in Hudson, WI! The sushi is consistently excellent, with incredibly fresh ingredients and beautifully prepared sashimi. What truly sets this restaurant apart, however, is the outstanding service. The entire staff is warm and welcoming, creating a consistently positive dining experience. A special shoutout to Eva—her attentiveness and friendly demeanor always make our visits memorable. We look forward to returning again and again!

It's a great place in Hudson, WI, and worth the trip if you are in MN. I thought the food was great. The quality and freshness of the fish were on point. I loved the sushi and the rolls. It was over $100 for two, but we ate a lot. This is my second time going, and it didn't disappoint. I am definitely coming back.

Eva, our waitress is awesome. She even remember us and even the items we ordered. The wife and I have been there many, many times throughout the years and always delish for foods I order. It's always hudson roll & steak fried rice. This place is in my top 10 places I enjoy eating at when visiting hudson.

I've been to Sapporo three times now, and it never disappoints. Good service and great food, fresh and delicious. I've had everything from sushi and tempura, to teriyaki chicken dinner and fried oysters, and they're all excellent. Craving Japanese? Sapporo is 100% worth trying.

Food was amazingly delicious! Always 10/10 whenever I am here. However, our server definitely ruined the mood of our dine in experience and this was the first I believe we have been served by him and he left a bad impression. After ordering with my boyfriend, I had asked for something else but to be put on a separate tab because I was going to bring it home. He got super annoyed and sighed and even rolled his eyes. I was definitely taken aback by his reaction to something so little I had asked for. He never checked in with us and asked we needed anything else. I’ve read a review similar to this post and I think it is the same server, Kevin. You can tell he hates where he works and his customers. I really love the food so I will always keep eating here, but definitely don’t want him as a server again. Even if you’re having a bad day you never let it show to your customers! I think there’s definitely a line you have to draw when it comes to personal and work life balance. If you are coming off negatively your customers will definitely feel that energy and it radiates!! Anyways sorry for the long post. Food 10/10 Service 1/10

We had a beautiful nigiri lunch comprised of the most beautiful, thoughtfully sliced, frsh fish unimaginable in Hudson, Wisconsin. We're lucky to have such a wonderful option locally. Also, the service is always efficient and friendly. What a great place!!

We stop here fairly frequently and it seems like it has improved every time. The serviceand food were perfect. Eva was out server and she remembered what we liked/ordered from when we were there over a month ago. Definitely the best sushi on the Wisconsin side of the river by far !!

At the very beginning, when my husband and I started going to this restaurant, everything was wonderful, we were served by a short girl, very smiling and friendly, after that we began to come across a young man named Kevin who does not smile and does not say hello, he did not introduce himself, what is his name and we found his name only on the check, he did not approach us for a very long time to take an order when we were already ready, he did not approach us during the whole time to ask if we needed anything else, he did not bring out the food for a very long time as if on purpose, there were a lot of damaged dishes in which the food is brought out, but this would not be as scary as the way the waiter behaves, he aggressively closes the menu and silently quickly leaves, you can tell from his face that this work irritates him, and he hates the customers he serves, we really liked the food in the restaurant, but after this young man we will not go there anymore, I hope the owner of the restaurant will do something about this so that in the future guests are happy with their waiter!
